After getting fed up with our all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen (the Royal), on our last day, my wife suggested we rent a car and go down and check out Tulum. We had not been here in 15 years, and have heard it was growing, so we headed out on a spur of the moment adventure. We stopped at... More

Dinner on the beach, try the Shrimp tacos, and the tuna "carnitas"....be sure to get a table right down on the sand. Service is not quick, but it's Mexico time....an eclectic eatery.....try it you will like it

While we found the wait staff friendly and smiling; they simply do not get in any hurry......my wife and I discussed this, at length each time we ate.......only ate dinner one evening and it took us about 2 hours. Breakfast was about an hour each time over a 4 day period; we were staying at the hotel. The food selection... More

Pretty much ate lunch here every day and even after 6 days you can try a few things or stick to a few good favorites. Didn't even look at the dinner menu until our... More

With a pristine, beach, lovely restaurant, great food, and remarkable bathrooms, this is a sure fire hit. We had both dinner and lunch here, and while the coconut shrimp with mango sauce for dinner was a real treat, the real star was the fish wraps for lunch, truly delicious. Great drinks, terrific and friendly service, and a beach to die... More

We visited here the first night for drinks. They did not have happy hours like the other places, but the drinks were a bit better than the other places wound up being anyway. It was really nice on the water at night, and we had the tuna chip appetizer which was amazing. We wound up coming back for breakfast another... More

We got their "dinner special"...she got the fish, I got the "flank steak". But it wasn't steak...it was some sort of kidney served with a light arrachera sauce. We've all eaten meat before and this was more like biting into a "tofu" steak. Maybe it was the tenderest piece of meat ever served, but it had a consistency that was... More

Dear guest, I am sorry that you remember this event in that way, although I would like to explain that we have written menus and we specify very clear what ingredients are in each dish, according to the recipe. Our Maitre, our chef and all the staff that work at Ziggy’s will never give any of our customers one thing... More

Definitely stop here if you get the chance. We ate here several time during our stay next door and enjoyed every meal. Breakfast was particularly good.
