Charming, great self made ice cream!

Very special ice cream, for once something different than the italian one (which i love) which is loaded with calories! Came also once for breakfast, the coffee was great! Sandwich average :)

Price is about 5 pesos more than the average ice cream in other shops. Taste is just normal but what makes this place nice is the little quiet garden where you can sit and enjoy your treat. I went there twice for a mamey (local fruit) milkshake. Charming

We have been going to Flor de Michoacan for almost 30 years. It is a delightful little shop on Avenida Tulum down by the bus terminal. Everything from paletas, ice cream to aguas frescas are tasty, reasonably priced & should not be missed! I fell in love with their coconut ice cream on this past trip. If you like the... More

I'm not a huge fan of their ice cream, but the palletas (Popsicles) are divine. Pretty to look at, even better to eat, there are so many to choose from. Peering into the freezer is like looking into a jeweler's display case. Tamarind, kiwi, Oreo, sandia (watermelon), mango chili, strawberry, the list goes on and on. These are not the... More

Love, love, love! We were renting a villa just north of Tulum for a week with friends. This was on our must try list and glad we did! We tried lots of flavors (coconut was my favorite), including the chili pineapple (which my husband accidently got because of a miscommunication with the young girl working - our fault, our Spanish... We stumbled upon this place after having breakfast and we loved it. I had the chocolate smoothie and it was so strong. I would definitely come here again!

Seven paletas over three days - what more can I say! So many flavors to choose from. Make sure you stop there after lunch or dinner. It's on the Ave Grande in Tulum close to the HSBC bank so very easy to find. The place also sells regular ice cream but when in Mexico, you have to eat the paletas!

Love the shakes, coconuts, and ice pops! A nice spot to cool down by the fountain and enjoy whatever you order.

Located on the southern end of Avenida Tulum across the street from the ADO bus terminal is Flores De Michoacán. They are open each day, except for Sundays, and open mornings by 700am. A lovely place! For three days we enjoyed sweet breads, ham and cheese croissants which they will toast for you, fruit drinks with milk or mineral water,... More
