My wife and I got married this past April at Dreams Tulum. Rather than do the entire wedding and reception on the resort, we looked into taking everyone off the resort and into Tulum for our reception. This gave everyone a break from the resort and another great experience to take away from their holiday. After looking on Trip Advisor... More

Ginger was recommended by our hotel. We read some reviews on line and liked the contemporary feel of the restaurant. When we arrived (granted we were on the early side, around 6) we were the only people in the entire place. We figured it would start to fill up quickly. It did....with what seemed like a private party/charity event. Everyone... More

Hi Robin! Thanks for your review - you really liked everything about our restaurant! You did come on an atypical night - we were preparing for the turtle benefit, as you mentioned. I was the singer, I remember you - I passed by several times but it seemed like you were into your meal and conversation and I don´t like... More

Ginger is located on a side street just off the main avenue in Tulum; We arrived to a lovely friendly welcome and a nicely decorated modern restaurant. Great, efficient service and lovely food made for a memorable evening. Our children were made most welcome and enjoyed their menu choices ranging from pasta served with shrimp to chicken thighs. Highly recommended,... More

I had fish with a fruit salsa, which was good, but didn't knock my socks off. My husband had the chicken, which was really pretty fantastic. The service was great here too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Tulum and want to venture into town.

The food here is amazing. If we'd had more time we would have gone back. The shrimp dish was the best I've ever had, tons of shrimp, perfectly spiced with garlic and noodles. My husband had the chicken thighs which out of this world. Everything is lovingly prepared and the waiter was attentive and made us feel very welcome. They... More

Everything lived up & surpassed expectations. Tropical mango ceviche appetizers was enough for a full meal for one person, but that did not stop my husband from eating his whole entree after practically finishing it off alone, because our meals were so good. I had the warm stawberry salad, which also was a generous portion, balsamic dressing mixed with the... More

On a back street in a not well lit business location, Ginger is turning out first rate local food in a contemporary setting with understated music that really complements the atmosphere and cuisine. So Ginger is not going to capture your heart with its street appeal, but once you are in the door you will meet people who are passionate... More
