Amazing food as always and now a gorgeous hotel

My partner and I have been huge fans of the restaurant for years and as soon as we found out it had reopened as a hotel and restaurant we booked a romantic break. I ate here several times the last time I was in Tulum and was overjoyed to hear that they had reopened just last week, still the best food in Tulum and now open for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner with a brand new hotel, I could not recommend more highly.

Ginger catered our wedding rehearsal dinner at our hotel (Nueva Vida de Ramiro) on the beach in Tulum (November 2014). It was maybe the best food we had during our 2 week stay! They grilled the meal on the premises. We had ceviche, grilled meats, grilled vegetables (including carrots and potatoes along with traditional peppers and onions), guacamole, traditional fresh... If you find yourself in town, away from the beach, you will be pleasantly surprised with Ginger. The owner/chef is a wonderful host and the food/dishes he creates are excellent. We have dined at Ginger 4 times and this is a consistent and reliable restaurant. The atmosphere is modern and comfortable and you are assured a great meal.

There’s not a large choice on the menu but what they do do they do extremely well. The Bananas Foster was superb but be careful if you’re driving home!

Ginger is not reviewed in all the travel guides, but definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is tucked away on a side street of the main Tulum drag (Hwy 307), but not too hard to find. The space is small and basic, but when filled with people feels intimate. My family of 6 adults and a 2 year old had... More

There were four in our party, and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The fried camembert and house guacamole were excellent starters. We each had different entrees, and all were outstanding. The service was very good; staff was attentive to our needs. I would make this a definite stop when in Tulum.

This restaurant is a must!!! The food was delicious. We ordered the two different types of ceviche which were exceptional. The meat was cooked to perfection, I have had meat cooked to the right temperature in restaurants very infrequently. They excelled with food and ambience. The decor was bright and refined. The live music was so much fun and added... More
