Returned to this restaurant several days ago and thought I would pass this along. The food and service was just as good as before. After reading all the reviews about the discrepancy in the bills, I decided to pay particular attention to the prices as we were ordering (4 people) and what the total should be. This time we received... More

We were patrons at El Pequeno Buenos Aires 4 years ago and had a fine meal. We decided to go back on our most recent trip to Tulum. When we arrived, we learned that the restaurant had changed hands and, although the decor looked slightly different, everything else was the same. Sadly, I cannot recall the name of our waiter,... I had churrasco and my friend had empanadas. My churrasco was actually very nice. Her empanadas close to terrible. Not to mention they were fried and not grilled or baked. The bread they served us to begin with was stale. Overall, it was very pricey. I would not go again.

Food was good but got ripped off with the check. They add 11% on but try to say it's a tax. He laughs with his buddies, stammers, and shakes his leg when you ask about it. It just says T S on the check which is confusing and he scribbles a big square around the total which almost covers the... More

The food was good. The waiter was friendly. But watch out! When he brought the bill, he read off the items we had ordered and told us the total amount but never gave us the bill. We thought it was high but paid it and gave him a tip on top of it. We left but felt that something was... More

We had our final group meal together at Buenos Aires Restaurant on Avenida Tulum north end. The three of us enjoyed garlic shrimp, steak, and steak and shrimp, with vegetables. For the prices we paid we received a lot food, well prepared and tasty. Excellent service, good drinks, full house, so many people, mainly men eating together that evening. Open... More

First of all, the food was very good. The waiters however, tried to charge us for food we hadn't eaten. We would have given them the benefit of the doubt, but for the way in which the waiter tried to convince us to pay the bill immediately and asserted that it was correct. This was suspicious straight away, and we... More

A little pricey for food that was rather average. The staff were kind and friendly and the empanadas were incredible, but the main plates were nothing to write home about.
