Nice atmosphere, nice wine selection

Everything we ordered was a bit overcooked. The service was intelligent. The wine selection was really good, specially in Tulum, where that's hard to find. The atmosphere was really nice. Expensive. I'd give it a 3.5 rating.

We were in Tulum for 7 days. We left Casa Banana for our last night as a special treat. We were not disappointed. It was fantastic. The place is beautiful, specially at night with lighting just in the proper places. You feel like you are in a posh New York restaurant but then you look around and it's rustiness engulfs... More

Casa Banana came highly recommended, and now I shall do the same thing! Do you love a cold, dry martini? Like, ICE cold? This is your spot. Do you love steak? This is your spot. Do you love sleek design elements, combined with sexy lighting and chill music? THIS IS YOUR SPOT. Just go. A lot. You are WELCOME.

If for some reason you get tired of the excellent seafood in the area, this place has great meats. Very good staff and cool ambiance.

Loved the ambience. Loved the music. Loved the wine.Food was very good. Be sure to read the menu carefully so you know what you're getting. A person in our party ordered the pork with risotto. It ended up being risotto with a few small pieces of pork sprinkled in it. Bring a flashlight, though. Everything is candlelit so menu is... More

Great ambiance and really great food. I was expecting an average to above average meal but received an excellent dinner. The ribeye was REALLY good.

The Future Mrs. Playmaker took me here for a special meal and Casa Banana did not disappoint. Drinks - we each had multiple rounds of the special martini of the day and I also had the kalamata olive/Rosemary martini. The drinks were great, hand crafted with the freshest fruits. They went down easy....too easy. Appetizer- we shared the warm octopus... More

Breakfast was perfect...fresh jam, fruit, juice and bread baked in the outdoor stone oven. Cerviche amazing. Gucamole and chips, fantastic. In the evening, fresh fish and wonderful drinks. Having Casa Banana as the hotel's restaurant truly made it perfect and sets Nueva Vida de Ramiro a part of other inns along the jungle road in Tulum. Cannot wait to return.... More

Had dinner here with a large party. Food was excellent, service was good as well. One person at table did not get their food. I am guessing it was either overcooked or they forgot to put it in. Either way, instead of admitting they messed up they said the chicken here needs to be cooked a little longer than everything... More

located in the 2nd row from the beach, directly on the street, garbage all around. It does not offer what it looks like! Waiters without any experience (bad service!!!), food just average for the most expensive restaurant we visited in Mexico... if you are still motivated to go there, be prepared for the mosquitos.
