Went there with my wife. Looked for a romantic place with a great steak. And boy, did we find it! Probably the most romantic restaurant on the planet, and what an athmosphere. Great service and EXCELLENT food. Had the Swordfish Carpaccio for starter and the Argentinian Rib-eye for main course. My god... might be a lifetime top-3 steak. Great wine... More

Awesome breakfast and dinner, the drinks are great too. I think it was better than Hartwoods and no wait list!

Great Breakfast! Wish I could find it this good at home. Dinner was a little spendy, still very good, just thought the price was about 20% too high.

This is a popular place, particularly for families because it serves the sort of food that Americans and UK kids like - lots of steak and burgers etc, cooked well, but rather pricey compared with many restaurants with more interesting menus. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

We had no plans to visit this place, in fact, the name kinda turned us off. Boy were we wrong not wanting to visit cause the food was delicious! How we ended up at Casa Banana is we picked up a hitchhiker. He was from Mexico City and told us that he was going to Casa Banana for dinner. He... More

We have been there for a dinner. It was one of the best restaurant visited on our trip through Mexico and US. They have maybe higher prices than average, but the service is amazing, everyone speaks english, they have really a good selection of wines(by glass and bottles as well) so I had after long time a good quality wine.... It's so strange to read reviews that describe the complete opposite of our experience. I loved this place. Went for dinner with friends. To kick off, we went with calamari and guac. All shared nicely between the three of us. That was followed by the skewers - which were out of this world. I also had the crepes to finish.... More

I'm really surprised to see this restaurant isn't rated higher! Although quite pricey the food was incredible and the service perfect. Receptionist at our hotel said the service can be a bit hit and miss but I guess we got lucky. Really recommend this restaurant!!!

A nice welcoming restaurant on the beach road in Tulum. Lovely open air area with working kitchen and amazing live flame cooking producing delicious dinners. Quite a small menu with something for everyone, however I went for the filet mignon served with rustic mash and roast tomato. Delicious! Good wine list, very friendly service, so good we went back again... More
