This is a great Italian/Caribbean restaurant/hotel located right on the public end of Tulum. We didn't stay there, but we ate there three times over two weeks.

We came here twice for lunch on the beach. The portions are huge, so great for sharing. The food was pretty good. I had the shrimp tacos, which came with a huge pile of shrimp. The fish burrito is also good, and they have good salads. It's also of course great to sit right on the beach.

Restaurant has very nice space design, eating inside on sand is fun. Food is mediocre at best (lobster overcooked, 2 pasta dishes salty and too simple for their own good laden with cream), didn't have pizza. one grilled fish dish was good. Margaritas were aweful. We should have returned them instead of hoping with every sip that maybe they weren't... More

I stumbled upon this place and fell in love immediately. The beachfront is incredible. The restaurant has great food and good drinks. I didn't stay here, but plan to do so when I get back. The bungalows are a little primitive. Wood shutters, thatch roof with a tiled floor and tiled bath. Mosquito net. That's my kind of place! I... More

Very nice place with good pastas and Mexican food. Do not try lasagne, for having lasagne choose another place. Friendly service.

We spent half a day at this restaurant overlooking the beach and had an amazing time. Service was prompt and amiable and there is a vast selection from which to choose from. We had an artichoke pizza which was crusty and delicious. Then later we had the tuna tartar and fish burrito. Fish was fresh and tasty and the burrito... More

A wood burning pizza oven by the azure Caribbean Sea. Are there any words MORE magical? The food is EXCEPTIONAL, and the ambiance even better. One pizza serves on very hungry person. I went with a group of four (including me) and we had 3 pizzas - Margherita (nice but wimpyish) Quatro Stagione and the one that should have Arugula... More

We had several meals at this beach restaurant whilst staying in Tulum in October 2013. We were staying at the nearby Mezzanine resort but were not impressed by their restaurant, so we only ate there once, before discovering the La Vita e Bella. This was just a short walk up the beach from the Mezzanine. We enjoyed all of our... More

The location of this restaurant is it's greatest asset: located on the best stretch if beach in Tulum close to the ruins. We just wanted to drink a cappuccino as we assumed that this must be excellent at an Italian place. Unfortunately the first two cappuccinos were made with Nescafé. When we asked for a real cappuccino the waiter reacted... More
