Get the Mole Enchiladas, mixta style with chicken and cheese. That, coupled with a margarita, was possibly the best meal I had in Mexico. So good, I ate it twice in 4 days.

We ate at Charlie's 2 or 3 times while in Tulum, and were happy each time. The mole enchiladas were my favorite. Service was friendly and timely. No complaints! Good value and location in town.

Ended up spending about $20 (US) for a Sol beer, salad, stuffed jalapenos and some sort of rolled/fried main. Was recommended to us by our hotel hosts, particularly because they accept credit cards. This was the only meal we had in Tulum town, so not much to compare it to. Would maybe try it again and order differently, but as... More

We have been coming to the Yucatan since 1980 about twice a year and fell in love with Tulum. We try to eat at Charlies when we are in the area, and I must say, that with all the growth and tourism in Tulum, this place has not changed their quality like so many others have. If you love soup,... More

We spent 13 days in Tulum and ate at Charlie's on 5 occasions. The food is excellent and very reasonable, which is surprising as it's one of the more stylish restaurants. We found many of the restaurants in town to be noisy from tables too close together, kitchen fans and equipment and street noise. Charlie's is spacious and comparitively peaceful.... More

We decided to check this place out based on Trip Adviser reviews and the recommendation of our hotel staff. It was really cute and packed with customers. Maybe that was the problem. The service was terrible. We sat for over 15 minutes before I finally managed to flag down a waiter to order, and waited another 10-15 before getting a... More

We were in Tulum for 10 days for a wedding and the rehearsal dinner was held at Charlie's. There were about 25 people and the place was perfect. The owner, Charlie, was fantastic and ran around like crazy making sure everyone had what they needed. With any group, there were some less adventurous eaters than others - Charlie's offered options... More

I ate here twice during a week ong stay in Tulum, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Good menu selection and service, very tasty banana pancakes. I read in a guidebook that this is a busy local place, but it was almost deserted both times I dined there.
