Delicious food, lovely surroundings, tip top service

Had breakfast here twice with friends and our kids. Quality food with decent portion sizes and reasonable prices. The watermelon juice is delicious and it was great to have unlimited coffee refills. I went here off of a recommendation and was disappointed with my wife's and my meal. It was not horrible by any means but very average. I had the hangover breakfast and it was a small portion and my wife had some sampler which was very weak. It does have a nice setting and maybe something else would have been... More

Azafran is a great place to have breakfast. The food is fantastic, the service excellent, and the secluded garden where the tables are is wonderfully tranquil. The best breakfast in Tulum by far.

I have been a long time fan of Azafran and they continue to always be wonderful. From my first experience here several years ago- they caught my affection with their refilled coffee as well as large glass bottles of purified water. It always drove me crazy when I would eat and the restaurant would sell me a tiny bottle of... More

Breakfast in the garden with Mica has become a tradition on our Spring trip to Tulum on our way down to the Costa Maya. The food is extraordinary and the garden setting makes for a "slow down and enjoy the atmosphere" start to our vacation in Mexico. Thanks to Mica for creating this oasis of gourmet food and friendly conversation.... More

Have been here many times. The hangover breakfast is the deal even if you don't have a hangover! The fresh homemade sausage can't be found anywhere else in Tulum.

Visited back in Feb/Mar. The nicest breakfast of our holiday, we are here 4 times! Owner is super lovely lady and the bagels are beyond compare. Setting is gorgeous, everything just lovely!

My husband and I got a little overzealous after a night of imbibing on the beaches of Tulum and decided to rent bikes from our resort (on the north side of the beach road.) It was a pretty long ride (over 3km EACH WAY) to Azafran, but we were so impressed by the service, atmosphere, and food - we definitely... More

We went there for breakfast, my husband ordered the bagel Norge (salmon and cream cheese) and I had the "hangover cure" (scramble eggs, sausage, bacon and mashed potatoes. The owner was very attentive and so was the they girl helping her. The food style is German and overall the food was good. Worth the trip for something different beyond huevos... More

The breakfasts here are lovely. We had the hangover plus a side of toast and shared between us. It was the first time I've had mashed potato for breakfast but it does work with the German sausage! Having one hangover breakfast would sure keep you going all day. Breakfasts come with refillable coffee and an orange juice. The gardens are... More
