We came twice here for breakfast. The patio is lovely, service is very nice and the owner is a nice German lady. Food is VERY good, very creative dishes with great fresh fruit/vegetables juices! We will be back next time in Tulum!!

The place does not look tempting from the outside - small house in the middle of nowhere. But when you get inside - it's much better. Peaceful and pretty garden and ...delicious european breakfast. Nice change after whole week of Mexican food. Sandwich with mozarella and tomato -tasty.

My boyfriend and I were in Tulum one week and ended up here 3 times, including having it be our last stop before we headed to the airport in Cancun. The food is so delicious, and in my typical fashion I ordered the same thing three times because I couldn't resist how good it was. I got the hangover breakfast,... More

Bread is really good - eggs so tastey - crepes with fruit so yum. Best part is the garden seating area and the kids wanted to keep coming back for the turtles (small pond on site)

Had the hangover breakfast. Yum. The portions were a bit much for little ol me, but delicious. Loved the decor. Coffee taste great. Didn't have a chance to have a bagel, but I hear they're good.

We went to Mezzanine. No service period. Left. Came to this little gem. Thank goodness. Immediately served good coffee. The breakfast was a treat! Omelette with Chaya and Gouda, toast which tasted like homemade, mashed potatoes, and a couple excellent sausages. Watermelon juice included. The owner came around twice to say hello and thank us for stopping by. We'll be... More

I was directed to Azafran on a friend's strong recommendation. I was not disappointed. My gf and I went there twice in one week. I had the amazing German breakfast, and she the fripuit creeps. She's been talking about them, ever since. Today, we had some bagels for lunch. The home-brined salmon was light, not fishy and generously topped upon... More

Excellent menu. Pate, bagels, bacon, lox, and much more on offer. Items one misses when traveling in Mexico. Well prepared and very fresh. Perhaps most enjoyable is the great coffee with abundant refills. Meika and her staff do a commendable job. After four visits over six weeks Azafran rates five for consistency alone.

We went for Breakfast and had the Hangover Breakfast. Large portion and the bacon and sausage were fantastic, as was the bread, eggs, and potatoes. We loved this place, nice outdoor seating area. Herman our waiter was great and very helpful.
