A nice little oasis from the "bustle" of Tulum. Delicious food with a homey feel. Like being invited over to a families home for dinner. Both the chicken mole and the fish were excellent. Service was good with a very relaxed pace. If you're looking for a nice, authentic, upscale dining experience in Tulum; this is the place.

Cetli is unlike any other dining experience in Tulum. The ambiance immerses you into a traditional Mexican home. Beautifully decorated with handmade dresses from Oaxaca, ancient Mayan washing boards and wonderful little figurines, Cetli is more than a dinner: it is an invitation into somebody's home for an unforgettable meal. All of their Moles are personally handcrafted by the head... More

Perhaps this restaurant is a little over-hyped but if you are a foodie it has to be on your list for Tulum (there is a lot of unsatisfying gringo Mexican food, especially at the beach). And if you are not a foodie but interested in trying authentic, generations-tested haute Mexican cooking, then there is nothing quite like it. The world... More

The concierge at our hotel, El Pez, recommended Cetli for their excellent authentic food, and they were spot on! They only accept cash but the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the Tulum beach area. The menu is in English, so we had no problem reading the ingredients, but the decision was still tough! To help out with your... More

My husband and I saw an article about Cetli online, so we checked it out the second night we were in Tulum. We were the first ones at the restaurant. As recommended, we ordered the tamarind margaritas, which were amazing. The "on the house" sample was excellent. I had the grilled fish; my husband had the fish in mole sauce.... More

I have been to Cetli twice, both times invited by scuba students who wanted to invite me to a nice dinner. Their choice of restaurant. The presentation of the food is lovely and original. The tamarindo margaritas tooo delicious for my own good. And the sauces are so good that it makes it difficult to choose betweeen them. So next... More

My friend and I had a fantastic meal here! The food was wonderful - fresh and authentic, and they gave us a great appetizer sampler to try. Had a great margarita too! The waiter gave us great service too! Reasonable prices for what you get, a must if you're in the Tulum area.

Loved this place, its located in a little casita on a side street in Tulum - and the decor was authentic and so beautiful. The food was delicious and super fresh (try the chile en nogada - sooo good)..... the service was simple - just the owner running around taking care of everyone. A pretty perfect meal in Mexico.
