Great Customer Service and Food

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and needed a restaurant/hotel to leave our bags and enjoy a nice dinner. We had wonderful service (Abraham) and delicious food. Lovely ambiance with an ocean view.

We visited Mezzanine on our last night in Tulum upon the recommendation of our hotel, Cabanas Tulum. We were after somewhere with shelter (storm was brewing) and preferably a lighter non Mexican meal. The first thing that blew us away was the incredible view. It is beachside as are a lot of other restaurants but it had elevation which gives... More

We stayed at Mezzanine and had dinner there twice. While we love thai food and spicy food in general the food was ok. The atmosphere both outdoors and in is excellent and the service was also very good we just didn't love the food.

I'll start with the scenery, restaurant, wow, overlooking the ocean. Very Zen like, people sitting on pillows under pergolas drinking their favorite beverage. More seating upper deck, what a view. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the pomegranate mojito, and it was so good. My meal was the queen Thai shrimp salad which was very good. My biggest... More

This place was a very good surprise for me and my family since we were expecting more of the traditional mexican and yucatecan flavors in the area. Ive heard the repotation of this restaurant goes back for more than 5 yrs, which is a lot in Tulum. The ambiance is excelent and the service is very friendly (Ivan and Fili... More

After a week of taco's & cerviche I thought I would try something different for dinner one night and was not disappointed by Mezzanine. Heaps of different options for tables, great cocktail list (and a few different versions not just your standard margaritas). I had the crab wontons and Pad Thai with shrimp and both were amazing- my only regret... More

I may be biased because I was a hotel guest here, but it really is some of the best food in Tulum. The breakfast is delicious - they have fresh squeezed orange juice and huevos rancheros, among many other yummy options. For lunch you can order traditional mexican dishes or thai dishes. And for dinner your options are mainly Thai,... More

We had a great dinner at Mezzanine. Our server, Fili, was really attentive and made a point of learning all of our names. Everything we ate was really good, especially the cheesecake dessert!! Unlike a lot of other restaurants in Tulum, the exchange rate was 15:1, which was a really fair exchange to use if you're going to pay with... More

We always come to Mezzanine for a great breakfast spot that offers fabulous views of the Caribbean. We were a mix of 10 friends & family. The menu pleases all, the mixed fruit drinks are refreshing & the cappuccinos are perfect. The staff is welcoming and the service stellar. Love to Francisco, our gracious waiter.

We enjoyed the margarita's happy hour from 1-4 (try the basil) and some curry. Our waiter Abraham recommended a starter, moneybags, which were delicious! Somehow there was a mixup and got the yellow curry with chicken instead of fish, but this was handled very well thanks to Abraham. Would really recommend for a chill spot with amazing view and delicious... More
