Delicious food in Tulum

A great lil' restaurant in Tulum. Fish food with a great selection to chose from. Like most of the places around here, it's an enchanted garden kinda place. Highly recommended!

We came here for lunch as the menu is the same for lunch and dinner. After reading all the amazing reviews we had high hopes for authentic high end and inventive Mexican cuisine. Both my veggies stuffed poblano and hubby's huitlacoche crepes were lacking in flavor and were very uninspiring considering the high prices. Save yourself some time and money... More

Walked past the place, it looked quiet mid afternoon, dropped by to charge my phone and have a drink. After a couple of beers and a Mezcalita (margarita with mezcal) i decided i was getting hungry so i ordered Coconut shrimp, it was absolutely delicious. Will be returning here as soon as im back in Tulum

This restaurant was directly across from our hotel and it was fabulous. Great wines and small plates and the open kitchen was great to watch the ladies prepare our dishes. I would go back again!

Dropped after a recommendation from our concierge and were not disappointed. We asked our waiter for a recommendation and we picked everything he suggested. The food is traditional, wholesome and interesting. The service is fantastic - relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable. If we were here longer if definitely go again.

I just discovered that El Tabano served lunch and I was in Heaven. Normally, I go to El Tabano at least once while I am in Tulum, but depending on the time of the year, the wait for dinner can be a bit of a challenge (always worth it tho), and one of my favorite meals there so far was... More

I spent 5 nights in Tulum recently for work and we tried out Tabano on the second night. It was so good, we ended up there again the next night. The rest of our group was so intrigued by us talking about it for two straight days that we ended up there again for a third night in a row.... More

My wife and I went to El Tabano twice on our recent trip to Tulum and it was amazing. The food is just amazing and some of the best you will find in Tulum. It's a nice atmosphere and an easy place to go for a great meal. It's not a place where you have to wait several hours for... More

Dinner was awesome. The servers were the best. And they totally worked with us when we wanted to order a bottle but were shy on cash on hand. bring cash everywhere you go in Tulum so you don't have to hunt for a working ATM (dollars or pesos).
