A little pricey - but if you enjoy freshly prepared pasta in a beautiful setting, look no further.

I think this is one of those love it or hate it kind of places. We really liked it. If you like simple and freshly prepared pastas, served in a beautiful location, and don't mind paying a little more for it, I think you will like it too. We stopped in to look around the hotel and shops... read more

Food is simple, fresh and delicious! Nice service and amazing view. Not cheap, but worth it! Try the fresh fish poached in sea water.

We didn't intend to eat "italian" food while in Mexico. But if by "italian" people mean "fresh", "interesting", and "good", I guess we did! The food at Posada Margarita is based in italian cuisine (and the owner/chef is italian) in that it is fresh, local, and fairly simple. The ingredients are so fresh that they let those shine through. There... More

As you walk up the path leading to the restaurant, you're surrounded by a beautiful landscape that almost transports you to another place. The ambiance here was very relaxing and beachy. The waiters provided a thorough description of each dish and the drink menu also looked really good. I had a cocktail that mixed mezcal with pineapple juice that was... More

This was one of the best lunch meals we had on the trip. However, it was expensive. The staff was attentive and the ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful.

There was a lot of fanfare about the menu which is printed on giant wooden planks and presented by a server who sat down with us (which i never like). The food was quite ordinary and super expensive relative to the portion size. The service was beyond terrible. They were very busy and it took 3 hours for maincourses and... More

Stumbled onto Posada Margherita ....literally, last week. Walked down beach from our hotel one evening with no dinner plans. Just planned on finding a spot and walking up. I knew Posada Margherita was down that way somewhere and had read good things about it. Saw the lights and ambiance and realized where we were. It seemed fairly crowded. We asked... More

This is a beautiful restaurant combining great food and a beach atmosphere. Everything is super-fresh and delicious. The fish poached in sea water was outstanding. Nice drink menu and wine list. It feels like something from the Amalfi Coast has been transported to Mexico and combines the best of both.

This was a much-anticipated stop on our trip to Tulum because I had heard such great things. The entire layout and ambiance is very pretty and very "Hamptons". The first thing out of my cousin's mouth was that is reminded her of The Crow's Nest in the Hamptons - the people and everything. It was very busy, and we got... More
