I happened to be walking by with my wife and heard the music (Tuesday night) from outside. They have a great tropical vibe, $10USD for a mojito, not the cheapest but it's not expensive either. The music was great, they had a dude mixing live some "Acapulco 60's" like tunes.

In my trip to Cancun I went to the amazing 5th avenue in Playa Del Carmen. We went to this amazing little place (kind of japanese food) that had variety. As a vegetarian myself I ate delicious rice and soy beans. The yakimeshi was so good (huge but really good) and my family ate delicious fish. I was so full... More

Drinks are great, not cheap but you can have a good time specially cause the music is not too loud unlike the place across the street which can leave you deaf and can't talk between eachother.

We enjoyed our visit here, they have good drink specials and also great music and delicious food. The rock shrimp were a favorite in our group, the sushi was pretty good too.

We visited here for a change as our hotel whilst an elegant five star affair was top notch we felt we wanted to let our hair down a bit. A lucky find whilst wandering around, the eclectic 1950's decor appealed to us. There was a great atmosphere & whilst many places nearby were quiet this place just kept getting busier.... More

Such a fun atmosphere in El Diablito.... it is the perfect spot before a night out! Particularly recommend the House Salad (seriously try it!) and the shrimp. The Dj is amazing playing a great mix of tunes that just make you wanna daaaaance!

Diablito was soooooo good! The sushi, the tuna, the fried rice, the sashimi, the fried ice cream - EVERYTHING WAS SOO GOOOD. THe prices are in pesos but you divide eveyrthing by 11 and it gives you the value in dollars. Great place!

This local restaurant bar is a must while being in Playa.... its located at the heart of all the action in downtown.... The food was delicious... you really should try their Roca Shrimp and Tuna Tataki.... The only thing is that after 10, this very authentic place turns into a full throttle bar and the music gets a bit loud... More
