Amazing, authentic Mexican food. This place is a few blocks off the beaten path but worth the trip. We had the tacos al pastor, guacamole, and chicken quesadillas. All tasted great and the place is very affordable. There are a few locations..... we went to the one right across from the Mega supermarket.

I must try away from the tourist traps for the main pedestrian street ! I have been telling everyone I know visiting Playa to make it there... It's worth the wait as well if there is a line up !!

One of the best places for real Mexican food! Great service and great prices, so many places on the main strip are way way overpriced and this is an excellent value

Plan on standing in line to eat here as this place has awesome food. Bigger restaurant and people still waiting outside for a table. The steak special was awesome! Highly recommended!!!

If you don't order these, you are missing out. I prefer the platter with Pastor meat and cheese that comes with tortillas on the side. El Fogon is packed at all times with a tourists and more importantly locals. Just go.

Run don't walk to this fine Mexican establishment. The service was outstanding. The meal was incredible. The price was definitely right. We will be heading back soon for a margarita and a taco. The bean soup is also a must. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

The tacos were amazing. I'm very picky when it comes to my meat, but I'd eat these again! The flavor was great, the meat was tender and there was no fat on the meat (which I appreciate) the guacamole was excellent. It gets a little crowded but the food was worth it!
