If you are looking for a real Mexican Style restaurant, with simple food and good service, this is one of the places you should have on your list. You might call it a "taco place", but its more than that. The platters for 4-6 people at less than $100 pesos a person, are fabulous. Located on 30th ave... a nice... More

Food was VERY good, but I don't know any Spanish. So this place was tough for being a straight up gringo! My pocket translator also didn't do such a good job, and the waiter did not have the best English... none of these things would prevent me from going back! My husband had something like a ham sandwich that he... More

We took bicycles from our resort and rode 20 minutes in 100 degree weather under the beating sun TWICE during our week's stay just to get these tacos. We got tacos el pastor, with chorizo,, taco loco,, arracherra special nachos.. all of it.. DELICIOUS. Service was good too.. We don't speak spanish but the waitor was able to give us... More

I'm all about good food. I went here after reading how great the food was. There were only our table and another table that were tourist and the rest of the patrons were locals. So immediately I was excited for some good tacos. The menu is in Spanish but the waiter was able to speak English. The chicken and beef... More

Even though it's quite a walk from where we are staying, I ate at this restaurant about 3 times during our stay. Just right beside Mega supermercado, a never to missed while in Playa del Carmen. Aside from great Al Pastor, I had the carne asada burrito with bacon over it. It was awesome...

Food was good but it was sooooo!!!!! HOT!!! Granted it's Mexico in August but this place is totally open and no AC. There were other places in the area that had AC that would have made the food taste better :)

I was in Puerto Aventuras for a week and we had dinner here 3 times. Not my first time here, visited last summer too. My husband loves the arrrachera special, I order the chicken. Food is delicious, generous servings, and excellent service. So affordable. Don't sit close to the grill, its hot. No air condition.

My husband and I went for a long walk trying to find a different restuarant off the beaten path we found here, and got kind of lost so we turned to head back...a bit disappointed since we had only spent a few nights in Playa and didn't stray far from 5th avenue. We saw a huge supermarket as we headed... More
