Walking past with my husband and his parents (in their 70's). Looked a nice place and we were not disappointed. Service was excellent, waiter was fun and chatty. Beers are cheap and most important for husband, served cold. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at the ferry dock to go back to Coz after a great day on the beaches of Akumal to find we had to wait 1 hr 50 min for the next ferry. I spotted the sign that read 4 beers for $hr8.00! This was half the price if a drink at Senor frogs.... We also tried the Tuna... More

Don't miss the hibiscus tortillas. Lots of nice options. This place is right in the touristy area, south at the end of the tourist area of 5th Ave, slightly to the left at the plaza, but the menu is unique and the food is quite tasty.

After several days of Italian! steak and seafood we were in the mood for some asian food. The green curry was pretty good. although it was a little soupy, the flavor was excellent. The rice was a little crunchy but Not bad. The thai soup was outstanding, as were the Spring rolls. These were the high point of the meal... More

We visited this bar/restaurant 5 times over our two week stay in Playa del Carmen and didn't bother going anywhere else. The staff are friendly, fun and always made us feel welcome. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with comfortable seating. Food was fantastic, the best tacos I've ever eaten - I even got to meet the chef! Drinks were... More

We had a very nice vegetarian meal here after dashing in from the rain. Spent an age chatting to the waitress - very informative. Food was good - especially for vegetarians and they seemed more than happy to change things as we wished (less spicy, more spicy etc). It's also a good place to chill and dink if you are... More

We visited Gautama on a recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. The Staff go above and beyond and made us feel so welcome. It was a slow night when we popped in for drinks and they sat and spoke to us for a while which would not happen else where. The place is beautifully decorated and they were more... More
