Love this place

This is a petite french restaurant in Playa, the food is prepared with a lot of care and the selection of the ingredients is done by his owner and you can feel that in the food. The wine selection is also very good. One of my favorites in Playa del Carmen.

Neighbors at our resort recommended this restaurant... they gave us a wonderful gift. Overall, an amazing and enjoyable experience. Hard to say which was better... the food or the service. (Nick and Armando were friendly and skilled. Felt like new friends.) The outdoor "nature" setting also added to the experience. We WILL return... maybe tonight.

We've eaten here the past two years we've been in playa and it's fabulous!! I had a chicken dish prepared in a le creusant baker and it was so flavorful! We've had steak there - wonderful and my husband had fresh grouper which was outstanding. Besides the wonderful food, the smaller and charming venue is a treat for more intimate... More

I came here To eat with some friends a few days ago and I will defiantly by coming back more often. I had the chicken basquise, which takes over 2 hours to make the broth and then they put a.spice called spelet which they told me cone from the northern region of France, it was served with a side of... Quiet, quaint and located neara beautifully landscaped cenote. The dining is the best part. French onion soup was very good. Absolutely loved the red fin entree with spinach topped with parmesan and goat cheese. Don't miss the trio desert (which included a meringue topped with carmel sauce floating in English cream, a perfect creme brulee and a chocolate pudding) We... More

This place is by far one of the best places here in the Mayan Riviera. My boyfriend & I came here last night for the first time, and might even go back again tonight! The Goat cheese salad, and chicken is AMAZING! Plenty of different flavours throughout the whole meal. I defiantly recommend this place, and i'm sure everything they... More

I visited this restaurant with a friend on a casual night that we fancied french food! The restaurant is nice, very good lighting and seating, if you seat outside you are surrounded by nature, it's nice! inside it's a bit noisy for the kitchen but still nice, you have an option to seat upstairs, I didn't go up but the... We spent an evening in Cocotte January 2nd with some friends. The menu highlights many traditional french dishes and we were excited for a lovely dinner. Excecution wise, we were very dissapointed: too sweet onion soup, a filet au poivre the waiter effectively seduced us to, ordered medium and delivered a dry well done. Spinach gratin with an evident lack... More

My wife and I dined here last night and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. we had the mixed Terrine and duck confit -- both were fresh, well presented and delicious. The wine list is also quite good, however, I'd agree with a previous reviewer that some of the bottles have been opened for too long. Ask... More
