I had the best mocha ever at the Coffee Stop not to mention the chocolate cake. WOW! We brought our son in for his birthday cake. We didn't have high hopes of finding a delicious cake in Playa. Boy were we surprised! The cake was fabulous. Truly the best chocolate cake ever. What a gem of a place. The true... More

I went to Coffee Stop so I could have a break from the crazy life of Playa and I got more than I could ask for! The owner, Paul, a Londoner, is a lovely person. I ended up staying there the whole afternoon chatting with him, eating the delicious carrot cake and my cold coffee. I would highly recommend this... More

We intended to grab a quick coffee and ended up staying a couple of hours. The coffee is excellent, if you are in search of a good latte/espresso/cappuccino, this is your place. The owner issuer friendly, and gave us heaps of recommendations for great places to eat and go to (which we went to and had great advice).they also make... More

I came here because of the trip advisor reviews. We had two coffees, a bagel and croissant. All of it was delicious. Coffee was pricey at around MX45 - I guess that's similar to Starbucks, but why drink their weak, chain-store sludge when you can get a real cuppa here? I also imagine the owner pays extortionate rent in playa... More

If you're picky about your coffee like I am this is the place. And Paul, the owner is such a great barista and host, a british guy who brings lots of joy to the place.

Came here after reading the raving reviews on TripAdvisor. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur I had high expectations and they were very much met. Paul, the owner, was friendly to chat us up and give us some pointers for our trip. He even gave me a 1/2 kg bag of Chiapas coffee as a souvenir. Would highly recommend this place... More

„The best coffee in PDC“ - To be honest, I only stopped here because Tripadvisor told me so. And I’m so glad I did. It looks really tiny and not very exciting from outside, but the owner Paul’s hospitatily more than compensates for this. Whenever I went we had a nice chat and he even came up with very helpful... Having discovered the Coffee Stop last year, we were eager to return again this year. Paul continues to be the consummate host - he's always a pleasure to chat with and generous with advice about local places. He operates a great place to meet other interesting people from all parts of the world. Although the Stop seems small, Paul pulls... More

Coming through USA I hadn't had a good coffee in 3 weeks. Saw some positive reviews on this place and noticed it was a short walk away. The only thing better than the coffee was the customer service. Don't miss this place if you enjoy your coffee!
