Needed some espresso ground coffee for home

After 6 months of searching I finally found a good coffee, a good espresso ground Arabica/Robusta mix is very hard to find in Mexico, this shop has the best. Locally roasted, makes a very fine Espresso.

We almost walked straight past Coffee Stop as we were looking for somewhere to do some work on our laptops and looked much smaller than we thought it would. However, I'm so glad we decided to check it out anyway! Paul the owner is a great guy and looked after us from the moment we walked in. We were pretty... More

My wife and I stopped by one afternoon. Good little coffee shop and had a nice conversation with Paul, the owner from the UK. He was very helpful in directing us to local eateries we my have missed otherwise. Stop by for a visit!

I walked into Coffee Stop by chance one night and I am beyond happy I did. The owner, Paul, is one of the kindest men you'll meet. He helped me practice spanish and put a smile on my face and the faces of the other patrons. Additionally, Paul introduced me to his former spanish teacher and the next day I... More

Paul is an absolute gold mine of local information and will happily tell you the best restaurants, bars and places to visit and how to do it cheaply and with minimum fuss. He'll set you up for your whole trip. All with a great sense of humour. For coffee I had a frape cappuccino and it was perfect.

We loved the coffe made by Paul, the owner, and visited the Coffee Stop almost every day of our 2 week holiday. Paul is a very friendly guy full of useful local information. If you go to Playa del Carmen, don't bother with any other Coffee shop!

Great coffee, I really like the flat white and you can add shots according to your taste. It kept ma and pa (the coffee lovers ) happy all holiday. We also got some good advise from Paul on where to visit and where is good to eat which made the holiday that much better. Thanks !

Best coffee drinks in Playa. Uses local roasters. Owned by Paul, friendly and a local hangout for Mexican and foreign coffee hounds. Paul knows the local scene very well, and is free with his knowledge. Can get crowded in morning, but worth the wait.
