We're a small independent coffee shop selling Mexican coffee. The beans are from Chiapas and toasted and blended here in Playa. We have light food to accompany your hot or cold coffees and teas. From filled bagels and croissants to light salads and delicious cakes and cookies. Sanctuary just a block and half from the busy 5th Avenue and right in the centre of town. You can pop in for your coffee fix and a chat or grab one and run. We have a delivery service too if you need us! Free wi-fi and a smile. Hope to see you soon!

Amazing Coffee! Thank you!

For all the true coffee lovers - this place is a must! So happy we were able to find this place and fill our 'good' coffee needs! Also lucky to meet the owner of this place who was amazingly friendly and even gave us some good exploring tips of Mexico! Thank you!

After 2 failed attempts at coffee service with breakfast, we got smart. Once we found Coffee Stop it became our morning routine. Now, the coffee could've been stronger but the availability and service made up for it. Thanks CS for keeping us sane!

Stopped by there on a whim while on my honeymoon, and met Paul. He was very nice and very helpful. He gave some advice on other places to check out not to mention the great strudel and machiatos.

Our cab driver told us to try the coffee so we did. Thank you 6-pack for letting us know about this little gem:) There were 4 of us and we all had a frozen frappes. We had the chocolate frappacino and the vanilla frappacinos. Absolutely fantastic and so much better than Starbucks (and less money!) The service was also wonderful,... More

We had a cappuccino every day during our vacation. Paul (owner) makes the best coffee and had great tips for restaurants and places to visit. My wife also loved his proper British tea and croissants with Nutella.

Best latte of the trip. A great little spot which is beside the new location for Los Tabernacos and on only a 5 min walk from Chac Pel (cross Juarez on 10th and go about 75 m) if you want to have a late lunch at a local hole in the wall followed up by a coffee

Great coffee, great service. Nice and friendly staff. That's it, nothing more to add. We'll be back when we are in Playa Del Carmen next time.

A very welcoming and ressourceful owner, super helpful for expats and tourists. He'll give tips for pretty much anything in town. And perfect location.

My family and I have been going to Playa del Carmen for close to 10 years now. We love trying local eating and drinking spots. When looking for a good coffee shop the Coffee Stop came up. It is cute shop tucked away from the craziness of 5th Avenue. Paul and his wife are super friendly its like going to... More
