Great spot well worth the effort to find it. Chef/owner does a great job with authentic Italian food from simple pasta dishes to more involved specials.

We ordered a chicken pizza with mushrooms on our first night in playa. We were expecting just a basic taste of a pizza but to our surprise the pizza had this great infusing taste with some leafs and herbs if I am not wrong. Served along with a habanero oil and some other spicy kind of oil witch were strongly... More

My wife and I have been coming to Al Volo over the past two years, and it consistently delivers on quality and price. At our last dinner, the rissotto was creamy, the salmon chunks were fresh and flavourful, the asparagus crunchy, and the rice was done just right for my taste. The milanesa was lightly breaded and fried, the roasted... More

Went to this restaurant with my husband and 4 others for the 1st time last week. I had the most amazing Osso Bucco tortellini with a Parmesan Cream sauce. I had a caramel crepe for dessert... The food here is so fresh and so tasty...best meal ever! My husband and I loved it so much, we went back the very... More

We always order delivery from Al Volo and it's greatttt. The food is great and the price is unbeatable! We have yet to eat there in person but it's on our 'to do immediately' list.

We came here based on reviews from Trip Adviser. It was spot on. This is such a wonderful restaurant. We had a bevy of appetizers and they were all wonderful. The potato dumpling was so so good and the stuffed mozzerela was incredible. Prices are great and the owners are wonderful. We will be back before we leave Playa.

If you want to go where locals go, try Al Volo, a casual, laid back restaurant on a quiet side street, run by Paolo from Sicily, who has worked at top restaurants around the world, and now settled in Playa with his own little place. Skip the tourist crowds on 5th and head to his friendly place for authentic pastas... More

We ate at this lovely, cozy restaurant last week. We live in Playa and will definitely be going back here lots. We heard about it from friends who also love it! Friendly staff, cozy design and cheap, good food! Their mozarella medallion in tomato sauce is out of this world delicious and their bruchetta amazing too. Limonada also fabulous. It... More

We were very happy to see this place is still here. It is next to the original Aguachilies on 34th. Our first visit was when it first opened and it still has that quaint personal charm. The chef (Paolo) is personally engaged with each guest to be sure of your satisfaction. We will return to Playa in December and will... More
