We visited them for lunch today, and were not disappointed. The Mayan coffee is prepared on the side for you, it's a show in itself and tasted delicious. Try the red-eye if you like beer. Ate there our first night and went back again later in the week. Food was terrific both times!! Service was great and the staff was very friendly and responsive to our requests. It is a small place and it can get busy, so be patient. Go enjoy a great meal and relax!

Decided to go here for something new. Wasn't disappointed. Food was good, served quickly, and was very hot. Waiters were friendly and interactive and spoke good English. completely different note - bathrooms were exceptionally clean which the females in the group were thrilled about!

When we asked the desk at our hotel for the "best steak in Playa", there was no hesitation when he said La Parrilla de Mando. We ate there on 3 of our 7 nights, just because it was that good.
