We stopped here mainly because it was the first place we saw after the rain started pouring, we didn't know anything about it but we saw the little tripadvisor sticker on the sign so we figured it would be safe. It was our first experience for Venezuelan food, the owner serves, and "the boss", his wife, cooks the food. Everything... More

The reviews are spot on. The food was excellent. The drinks (mango drink, limonade, etc) all had fabulous flavor. They do give you a sample the four house drinks once you are seated. The meal was excellent and for two people with drinks (nonalcoholic) it was less than $20. Go there... You will love it!

After 2 weeks in mexico and a ton of tacos it was great to find something new and unique in pdc. This family run restaurant is a must stop and only a block away from 5th ave. The food is all great as well as the juices.

This place is a little ways out of the super touristy zone but not too hard to find. It's pretty small and kinda close to the road, if that bothers you you should probably stop reading. It feels a lot more "real" and authentic than a lot of the other restaurants we saw. The owner served us and he was... More

We were looking for a different food experience in Playa del Carmen. Something away from 5th avenue. Based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor we chose Kaxapa Factory. It was easy to find and not far off 5th avenue. We were seated immediately and served by the owner. The waitress explained the entire menu and made suggestions. She brought... More

Never tried Venezuelan food, nonetheless was very welcoming and friendly family restaurant. Really good value for money and I read somewhere to ask to try out the home made drinks. Did not disappoint :)

I was very pleasantly surprised by the sweet flavor of venezuelan food. All dishes are corn-based and usually contain meat and cheese. Their Kaxapas are really really good, and the fruit drinks are delicious.

This was different- Rated a little high in my opinion, It was the best meal I had whilst I was there. I think this was due to the fact I was eating Mexican the entire time.I ate here twice on my trip- LOVED it the first time, was desperate to go back. I returned 2 days later, and didn't enjoy... Its our 4 th day in Playa Del Carmen and we wish we had been here sooner. The food is excellent. They catered very well to a few dietery restrictions we had. The service was fantastic. Our server brought me some samples of their speciality juices. I loved the sugar cane lemonade. A definite must try. We had the Kaxapas,... More

this little restaurant is nice, but seems too small and unimportant when you happen on it the first time. The service is very nice, it's a family run business, but there are only a few tables. Everything is made fresh and if it's your first time having Venezuelan food, it's a good place to go. The cost is very modest... More
