Awesome burritos! The place is pretty small and there is only outdoor seating. That being said, you don't really feel that hot as there is shading. In fact when we went we thought about getting the food and going inside somewhere but after sitting down we hardly noticed the heat and in fact had a nice breeze helping us. Back... More

Perfect place for a snack or a quick bite. Good location and prices. The "burro de pastor" tasted really good and it was pretty decent size.

My girlfriend and I decided to go playa del carman, to do some souvenir shopping and get a burrito from the burrito shack near the collectivo station which we had on a pervious visit, unfortunately its closed on tuesdays so I googled best burritos in P.D.C, and found this place on TripAdvisor. My girlfriend and I were very impressed, affordable... More

There may be a couple of these in town, but the one I visited was actually on Calle 8 between 10th and 15th. The restaurant is really a take out stand, though there is seating for a few people. The menu is limited to some standard Mexican fare, but it is inexpensive and very tasty. I have been back a... More

I decided to not be so typical during my visit and try the marlin burrito. I saw the open grill and fresh ingredients aside and even considered to ask which of the main meat ingredients was the freshest before opting for the marlin. The attendant assured me everything was fresh, great! My downfall in this culinary experience was creating expectations.... More

The food is good, the drinks are good, not expensive, rather cheap. They have a guy at the door that is always drunk or drugged out of his skull.. I was there with my lady friend and I almost punched the guy because he was so disrespectful towards her. THey need to get rid of the bloke! I think they... More

I'm always going to the Burro Playero located at Mamita's street, and so far so good. The food is not pretentious at all, but is good and definitely not expensive. The reason why I go there it's because of their super inexpensive beer, I mean, one litter on beer is $50 pesos (less than 5 bucks). The waiters and the... More

My friends and I were at that restaurant bar to eat buritos, but it was different not too spicy as usual. The place was really cool, we met some people and gave us tips to traveling at Mayan Riviera. The dj was pretty cool. Also we asked for beer with michel (I hope have spelled it well it is with... More

After researching where to find the best burrito in Playa del Carmen, we stumbled across Trip Advisor reviews of Burro Playero. Anxious to see if the reviews lived up to the hype, we decided to visit the eatery on Calle 8 for ourselves. The first thing that caught our attention was the cheap price (approximately $4US for a HUGE burrito)... More

We've visited there in October 2011. We passed by and saw a big sign written "BURRITO 35$" so we decided to try it out. The place has very fun atmosphere, it's close to the beach and even cheap. Great value for your money. The food felt fresh and was Delicious and flavorful. Also the stuff were very nice. High recommended.
