We were very disappointed in this restaurant. We went here because of the many good reviews on TA however we did not have the same experience. The food was very tasteless and not every warm. Plus the margaritas barely had any tequila in them. When we complained to the server he seems very put off and it was difficult to... More
My boyfriend and I were hungry for good seafood and we found it here. The service was friendly and the margaritas were excellent. We have to go home soon, but not before having another excellent meal at Kool Fish.
Search no further if you are looking for awesome seafood and fabulous frozen Margaritas! After two visits a few days apart, can guarantee you will be happy to try Kool Fish! I enjoyed the coconut shrimp and especially enjoyed the lighly breaded fried shrimp - jumbo size and absolutely awesome! My husband also enjoyed the fresh catch of the day,... More
While walking, we stopped at Kool Fish to read the menu. Lobster caught my wife's eye and the Fillet Pil Pil caught mine. Our waitress (and I am going to write it incorrectly for which I apologize) Rosario was fun, funny and a real pleasure. The food was first rate and reasonably priced. The habanero sauce was incredibly good and... More
Lovely dinner starting with very generous and fresh ceviche Followed by whole Red Snapper My wife got the pil pil- delicious grouper Charming service from Jesus
There were 5 for a 9:00 pm meal. We were greeted by a wonderful waitress named Rocio. Her smile was very contagious. We ordered seafood paellae. It's suppose to be a dish for 2 but 3 of us ate our fill and we still took leftovers home. Another dish was Seafood in a 1/2 pineapple. My friend did not lift... More
The oysters in the half shell were delish! The garlic shrimp and whole red snapper were amazing! Our waiter Jesus was very engaging and looked after us with a complimentary cocktail! The ambiance was a bit stark but overall very clean and inviting. The price point was also very good value for your money!
Everything was delicious Whole fish, half pineapple with every kind of fish, fish stuffed with shrimp, and attentive staff.
A decent place to eat on 5th ave on a budget. We had calamari rings (so so taste 2 of 5), i had a fried grouper (3 of 5), my wife had the mayan shrimp (4 out of 5), chips/salsa, a beer, a margarita, and a coke. All for $41 USD. not a bad price for all of that.
