My family of 11 went here for dinner tonight - three of us are foodies - two world travelers. Everyone agreed the food was spectacular from the Ceviche appetizer to all the mains (fish, beef, shrimp etc.).

We were visiting Playa del Carmen for the third time on 10 years - in fact it was our 10th wedding anniversary trip. The food at the resort we were staying at was good, but we wanted to try authentic Mexican in downtown Playa, We were referred to Mi Pueblo ("My Town") and we were not disappointed. The menu was... We were pulled in off the street to try this restaurant and decided to because it looked nice on the outside. Don't go here! The food was horrible and should not even be called Mexican food. I suspect that the fish in our Ceviche was not good and the tomatoes used in my caprese were mushy and small. Their chef... More

We chose this restaurant for its attractive appearance and great people watching on Playa Del Carmen's fun 5th Ave. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. We had great service from Manuel and started with excellent margaritas and great guacamole. Then we both chose Manuels suggestion of the Molcajete camaron in the big stone bowl. With the very large,... More

We like this Mexican restaurant on Quinta Avenida. Their soups are great. My favorite is the crema Poblamo.....always a treat!

This place has a great corner location with wonderful people watching if you can get a table outside (which we did.) Beware the roaming mariachis - if you make eye contact with them they will surround your table and play for you (and charge you $10 USD.) The food was okay - not great but not terrible either. I had... More

This place looks like it's okay. It was not. I ordered boiled corn and got something white dipped in old cheese. This was after 45 minutes of waiting. My boyfriends food and my food was cold when it arrived, my food was unidentifiable...i think it was some kind of tortilla, because u always get that in Mexico, and some tomato... More

Sad to say overpriced meal and drinks and dull and tasteless food. We both ordered fajitas which had zero flavour and were dry and boring and small portions; thankfully the leftover nacho dip added some flavour. Fajtas for 2, 2 beers and 1 margarita and came to almost £50, poor value for money, came away feeling ripped off and disappointed.
