Amazing place

This is one of my favorite places to go in Playa, it has delicious food and amazing variety of cocktails. You can spend all day here with friends or family. Also the best place to party too, if you get the luck of been in playa when there´s a Canibal party going on, you cannot miss it!!!!!

Frustrated by the crowded beaches elsewhere in Playa, my boyfriend and I sought out Canibal Royal when we just wanted to lie down and have some drinks. It definitely delivered! The service was very fast and our servers, Horacio and Benji, were really fun and funny and attentive without hovering. Food was tasty, too, and the music is definitely present,... More

This Beach Club has good food and is a fun place for beach devotees during the day. However, at night they are incredibly uncaring and selfish. They set up rock-concert quality speakers and blare their techno-music for the benefit of everyone else within a mile radius. We spend a lot of money in Playa at an expensive complex close by... I was there with a friend as we both had accommodation in town with no pool or beach etc. The club was excellent value for use of a lounger and facilities for the day as minimum spend at the time was only 200 pesos pp - about £10. We were there on a weekend and it was super busy as... More

We stayed in a nearby condo for two months this winter, and one of our favorite places to stop for a rest and a drink was Canibal. It is one of only two or three "public" beach bars north of Avenida Constituyentes, and it is small and hidden from the street next to the Reef Coco Beach Hotel. The food... More

Good food! The shrimp cervichie was excellent! Sun loungers were free if purchasing food & drink. Staff was friendly with a great sense of humor. Too bad the beach was washed away and the music was repetitive techno. Will visit again.

I came here during my last trip to Yucatán in the low season. So this must be kept in mind when reading my review. I absolutely adored the place. There is no entrance fee but you have a mandatory consumption which is easy to achieve as the food is simply divine. I had one of the best shrimp tacos ever... More

Be sure to sit on the second floor of this little piece of heaven with a spectacular ocean view. This is the only place we wanted to be sure we returned to during our trip. Both visits we had lunch. There was a nice variety on the menu to choose from. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive, spoke english very... More
