We had the pleasure of visiting PapaCharly's restaurant last night for their pasta. As per previous reviews stated, you select your pasta and your sauce and they make them to order. The food was amazing. We all had different sauces and everyone was very happy with their choices. As stated, it is in a residential area so its a bit... More

This restaurant has a great concept which allows every customer to choose her pasta and sauce, besides a great selection of fixed dinner plates. A relaxed atmosphere off the 5ta ave. I really recommend Papa Charly Pastas to all who love authentic homemade pasta dishes.

This was called Util Pasta a couple years ago when we last visited. We were charmed by the wonderful, funny host. Unfortunately he has passed away. His son waited on us, and was as pleasant as his pa. The pasta is fresh and tasty, reasonably priced and generously sized. This was a return visit for us, and I will definitely... More

My wife and I went here one evening recently. It was a little hard to find but well worth it. The seating is open air under a roof. The lovely senora who helped us with the menu spoke a little english to match my little spanish but we were able to understand each other. First we had what I would... More

Delicious hand made pasta in a cute restaurant. Just by the name I wouldn't have thought to go here. The name sounds like a chain restaurant in the US with fast cheap food. This could be no further from the truth. I'm glad I actually took time to read some reviews rather than immediately passing over it. It is located... More

The restaurant has no atmosphere and was hot. I was sitting in front of the fan but my partner was very uncomfortable. The salad was not like any Ceasar salad I have ever had before. Not sure why they call it a Cesar salad. It was way overdressed. The bread was microwaved and 2 pieces were okay and the third... More

Tried Papa Charlie's based onTA reviews. It's a very small ( 5 or 6 tables) outdoor spot in a non description residential location. The food was good and authentic. The Caprese salad was huge and very good. The lasagna was also a large portion and tasty. The only disappointment was the gnocchi. Had better in several places in Playa. Otherwise,... More

My Italian grandmother made the best food on the planet. A close second is PapaCharly. If you love pasta as much as I do, then you have to go here. I had puttanesca with spaghetti and my wife had cannelloni with a ricotta and spinach filling topped with cheese that was torched at the table! Luckily we went on a... More
