Awesome service & lobster!

This place is such a gem! The service is probably the best I've had in playa (3years living here), amazing value, and really good food. They have a super cute garden area in the back, even if it looks like nobody's there, they're probably all at the cute romantic garden tables. Highly recommended... read more

We were in Playa Del Carmen for 4 days in May and ate at several restaurants, but this was our absolute favorite! We went back several times for lunch and dinner. The food was better than at the more expensive places, and our waiter Mario was lots of fun. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Ask for Mario.

On a resent trip to Playa del Carmen we asked our cab drive to take us the his favorite restaurant. It was so good we went back a second night. The meals are served on a plate that I put a turkey on a Thanksgiving. They served salsa, soup, and desert all in the price of the main dish. One... More

We were with a group of friends and wanted to venture out of our resort for different food. Most of us wanted seafood so a friend we were with found this place and suggested it. It was far better than I ever imagined! The seafood was amazing. The service was excellent! Very friendly and welcoming staff. What impressed me the... More

Great service and lovely outdoor garden area. It was humid and our first night so it was a welcome find. Authentic good food and our bill was very very reasonable indeed! Not the £££ that it seems to have on TA.

We visited this place on our recent trip to Mexico. We stayed at an all inclusive resort but was getting a little tired of the same food and ventured out one evening to see if we could find something better and boy did we! I did a little research on trip adviser and found La Mission. It's one street over... More

If you want real Mexican cuisine (not Tex Mex), this is a great little spot. You might just walk by the unimpressive entrance, but in the back is a charming courtyard for al fresco dining. The Chile Rellenos was amazing, best I've ever had. All meals come with lime soup..The queso as starter was delicious, but a meal in itself.... More

This place is one street over from the famous 5th avenue. It's not your typical tourist trap. Very authentic. The food was so great and inexpensive compared to other places to eat. The staff was wonderful!!! We even had a friend misplace his wallet there. We went back and they had kept it for us and everything was still there.... More

Food excellent as always. We had grilled lobster, chicken in mole, grilled grouper, and grouper Veracruz. Lime soup was really good as well as sexy coffee. We love this place and large fans and fabulous margaritas helped with the hot night total cost $125 for 5 inc, using drinks
