I was really surprised how delicious the almond pastry was, I will remember it for a long time. I can also recommend frappe Nutella.

We have been to this place at least 10 times over the past two summers and think it's a great spot in Playa for breakfast. we typically get the ham omelet, small bread basket, and fruit bowl to share all are good. There fresh squeezed OJ is great and there coffee is above average. Had lunch once this past trip... More

When you pass by the restaurant you can smell already the fresh croissants! So stopping by is a must at least once during your holidays. We have a great breakfast with delicious french bread!

This restaurant was a breath of fresh air in the middle of playa. Small outside sitting (it can be hot) that was complimented with great small dishes. Onion Soup was great and the 3 cheese crepes were amazing. if you get tired of the all inclusive pay them a visit. BTW the prices were very reasonable.

A nice option to have a French style breakfast or lunch. Self made bakery to stay or to go. Good quality coffee and very good service. Similar to a salon de thè, you can find healthy and delicious choices.

Chez Celine was a great stop for breakfast and I would surely return. For starters, the outside area is adorable and has a very European vibe. The menus we were given were in Spanish, which is what one should expect when traveling in Mexico, but the waiter did offer English menus to us afterwards. We were able to make out... More

We were there to have a cup of coffee at night. My husband is a very demanding coffee consumer. Having said that: He was very satisfied with the coffee served. Very strong (he asked for a double shoot), and the right temperuture. I dont drink coffee so I had a ginger lemonade: very good! We paid for both like $9... More

Outside fans wish they had a/c but other than that yummy yummy, best coffee in Playa del Carmen! Fresh baked bread with jam and can I tell you please try the almond chocolate croissant! I miss it already.

I love going to enjoy a breakfast at Chez Celine as it reminds me of home. It is a very nice place, the staff is super friendly and the bakery is "to die for" :) I would highly recommend to go at Chez Celine when visiting Playa del Carmen. It is today a "must try" place. Make sure to arrive... More
