Between the busy 5th and the calmer 1st just outside the main tourist trail, you will find this ordinary looking restaurant. Nothing fancy. Nothing that reveals that they are simply outstanding doing mexican fish cuisine. I would definitely recommend it.

We just happened to stumble across this place while making our way to 5th Avenue. We stopped because every other restaurant we passed was dead but this place was full. We figured it had to be for a reason. I am so glad we did. The food is so good we ended up eating here twice. The shrimp tacos are... More

I just returned from Playa and dinned here on Saturday night. Had a great meal, lots of drinks, entertainment at a wonderful price. 4 of us ate and drank for $80USD. That was drinks, apps and fresh seafood main course. I had the scallop and tuna tostadas and was very impressed at the quality for the price. Very fresh. I... More

An employee at my hotel said this was his favorite place so I thought I would give it a try. As soon as we sat down at the table I thought yuk, not another crappy place. The menu had lots of shrimp and scallops and ceviche. I asked the waiter was he would reccommend and he said the fried filet... More

We were hot and tired, but I read that this place was legit, so we made it out to this basic, plastic chair, window-less establishement, and were so grateful we did. We let the waiter guide us in our order, and he did not steer us wrong. We had the tempura fish tacos, steamed fish and cheese tacos, a fruit... More

As with all good restaurants that get too popular it appears that the quality is suffering a bit here now. The ceviche was good and the portion size is enormous. I like the variety of sauces provided as well (mango, cilantro, chile, etc). However my wife's lettuce tuna tacos just had an odd funky flavor. I'm always cautious when raw... More

This restaurant is very basic...plain tables, plastic chairs my husband had the fish ceviche which was good; I had the tuna tacos which I did not like. We'd go back, just not get the tuna. It's located right near 5th and Constitution Avenue, lots of foot traffic and mariachi bands

This is not the place for a romantic or special dinner but if you are looking for quick food at reasonable prices this restaurant is a good choice. With two locations, one on Constituyentes and another on 25th Ave. Casual outdoor restaurant with a good selection of ceviches, tostadas and other Mexican dishes. I believe that this is actually a...
