Sushi grade tuna tostada and the sea scallop tostada are BOTH a OMG to die for with six different sauces. If that's not the best part then the margaritas made with smoky mescal are KILLER !!!

Los Aguachiles has never disappointed - 5th visit. Fresh, imaginative, authentic local food. Few tourists, mostly locals, always a good sign for me. Inexpensive too!

Came here for dinner while visiting Playa Del Carmen. Food was delicious and portions were a good size. My boyfriend and I ordered four appetizers to share which wound up being way to much. We ate ourselves silly. My favorite dish was the fried rice with seafood in it. SO GOOD.

Fantastic ceviches ever in my opinion! My wife is a huge seafood fan and she was very impressed and happy. I love seafood, but not as crazy about it as my wife is and I gotta say I absolutely "chowed" this ceviches! So fresh and good. Wow! We both had shrimp main dishes and both were very, very good. We... More

After a full day of diving in Cozumel, we were looking forward to a delicious meal in Playa del Carmen. When we arrived, the place was packed and there were 2-3 groups of people waiting to be seated. We waded into the bar to get a cool beverage while we waited, and before my wife's margarita was ready, we were... More

we walked past this place and it seemed popular with locals. Ate there tonight and it was just OK. It cost about MX$450 for 3 for dinner - no alcohol. The ceviche was $180 - but was mostly large lumps of cooked shrimp and fish, not delicate slices. The smoked tuna taco was way too salty. Wouldn't go back. The... More

Found this place here on trip advisor and so glad I decided to give it a try. Mostly locals eating here and you'll have to use your broken spanish , but the wait staff was very nice and patient trying to understand what we wanted. You have to try their ceviche, its the best I've ever had. Prices are very... More

A local friend of mine recommended this place for good sea food toatadas. At first it looked bit doggy with plastic chairs and tables, but it was full of people. We tried the tostada de tun, and the smokes tuna as well as the aquachile house special. But we loved the tuna sashimi the best. And it was good priced... More
