Great pizza place in calle 38 right near the beach access. It has an open space concept that is ideal for the weather and creates an enjoyable atmosphere. The pizza we ordered was large and more than filling for the two of us. It is around the corner of a lot of great restaurants too!

Stopped here one late night. The place was crowded and service was slow. Drinks were expensive. While many different pizza options, nothing stood out as exceptional. Cool atmosphere, but likely better food elsewhere.

I had a very nice evening in Piola, the pizza is thin and cooked with wood which makes it tasty. We had their hawaian version and it was good with some craft beer. We also had a Strudel slice with vanilla ice and espresso to close the deal. The food is not out of the ordinary but the atmosphere and... More

My favorite place when we want to eat italian pizza in Playa del Carmen. Very nice location close to the beach in downtown , affordable prices and good service with many different tastes of pizza, calzone, bruschetta and other good things.

Set in one of the more pleasant areas of Playa's fifth avenue, this restaurant absolutely serves the best pizza we have tried in Playa. The large pizza is more than enough for two, with a great selection. However, the restaurant is popular and can get busy with a certain kind of tourist that feels the need to screech to one... More

Piola’s is an inexpensive Italian restaurant up on 38 Calle about 200 ft east of 5th Avenue. I love coming to this restaurant because my kids will pick up the tab, what a value. This is some of the best thin crusted pizza in Playa. The wait staff has always been a little bit thin. Hence, the service can be... More

Food was good but the service was NOT. Our waitress looked miserable the entire time, and provided us with crappy service. She also got our order wrong and didn't even apologize or make any adjustments to the bill. Won't be going back again.

My new favorite drink in Mexico. Clean and refreshing. Good food. Came back a second time. Hand made pizza's. Nice bar tenders.

I've been here a few times when it was busy but also when it was a bit more quiet. my overall experience is that the food and service is very good. As a vegetarian there are quiet a few choices on the menu which all of them seem to be nice i've tried 4 different dishes and they were all... More

I get a pepperoni pizza and a Lasagna alla Bolognese,I didn't expect that the food were so bad. The meat of the Lasagna was awful, I felt like I was chowing gum. The pasta of the Lasagna was good. The taste of the pizza was poor. I think the quality of the ingredients is not good enough. The foreign staff... More
