During our 16 day stay, we ate here at least 7 times …. every meal was great and easy to find a favourite dish. The bruschetta is fantastic, the smoothies, and the pasta dishes. The only negative is there seems to be no designation for smoking / non-smoking …at one meal we had 6 smokers at the next table which... More

The best pizza ever! The food here is delicious - the bruschetta, the gnocchi, the pizza, and the chocolate mousse at the end are the highlights. We come here at least twice every time we are in Playa del Carmen and we are never disappointed. The service is also fantastic.

Well we lived in Playa for two months and decided to try Piola one night as it was closer to our Place. We love thin based pizza and good quality food. We ordered a salad and Pizza and when it came to the table we were disappointed. The Pizza was undercooked on top and burnt on the bottom. Maybe the... More

Amazing pizzas and drinks here! The bartenders are great, but the service is a little slow. Make sure you go to the bar and try the froZen basil martini or the cucumber, they are beautiful and fun to drink. Every pizza we had there came out fresh and delicious and we have eaten there on each trip down to playa.

We have eaten here in the past many times and always received quality pizza. We stopped last week expecting the same. That is not what we got. We love thin crust pizza. This pizza was way too thin. It was so thin that the crust could not even support the toppings. The entire pie flopped over and all topping plopped... More

We had a very disappointing time at Piolas last night. We ordered drinks and only one came. We then ordered it again and it still did not come. We had planned to stay for dinner and had menus but no one came to take our order. The staff were all standing together chatting....had to get up to ask for a... More

Great pizza place in calle 38 right near the beach access. It has an open space concept that is ideal for the weather and creates an enjoyable atmosphere. The pizza we ordered was large and more than filling for the two of us. It is around the corner of a lot of great restaurants too!

Stopped here one late night. The place was crowded and service was slow. Drinks were expensive. While many different pizza options, nothing stood out as exceptional. Cool atmosphere, but likely better food elsewhere.

I had a very nice evening in Piola, the pizza is thin and cooked with wood which makes it tasty. We had their hawaian version and it was good with some craft beer. We also had a Strudel slice with vanilla ice and espresso to close the deal. The food is not out of the ordinary but the atmosphere and... More

My favorite place when we want to eat italian pizza in Playa del Carmen. Very nice location close to the beach in downtown , affordable prices and good service with many different tastes of pizza, calzone, bruschetta and other good things.
