Best Tacos in town

Have been twice and the tacos never disappoint! Recommend the fish tacos seconded by the shrimp and you can't go wrong with the beef. Service is a little slow only because it's very popular and the service is great. Highly recommend for tacos

Read some reviews on trip advisor and decided to try it out. The lighting was dim, the tables were covered in construction dust from the hyatt job, however the service was great and the food delish! A nice little hidden, affordable, open air place to eat off 5th ave.

When in Playa del Carmen we usually stay about two blocks from PG's and have found the food to be pretty good and the sports bar atmosphere to be excellent. Last week we went to PG's and had hamburgers. They were some of the worst we have ever had in Mexico, in fact anywhere in the world (I've visited over... More

I feel like Rick James in that I wish I had more had hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs down. Its fried, quickly prepared food that involves using the microwave as the main cooking implement. We stayed in the condos above the bar and the service there in right on par with the bar below...not good. Avoid... More

I can not speak to the food at this establishment, but I cannot imagine it would be very good. The beer and the company, however, is incredible. My wife and I went here because we saw that they had a pool table. Its not a particularly high quality pool table, but our options were pretty limited, so it was sufficient.... More

If you are looking for sports and to be left alone for some beers then this is the place. No point in going for food here but not bad for a beer or two.

No one serves you ... no one cares you're there ... not sure how they stay open. Stayed in the condos above for 3 weeks and saw no one there at any time except a couple of times people stopped to play pool. Tables are dirty and old and the place is just run down. Not worth stopping ...

Very close to our accomodation...limited beer selection, but the beer that was in stock was ice cold. Several TVs for NFL games - watched two games there. The wings looked/smelled really good, but I had already eaten dinner on both occasions that I was there.

It´s the local touchstone spot for sports..very much a neighborhood destination. Shrimp tacos and poutine were excellent and the service was very sharp.

We went to PG's in search of a draft beer and to see if this place was worth watching Superbowl......NOPE!!!!! I had read before that the staff ignore customers and keep to themselves; TRUE, we had to ask for service and we felt like we were interrupting a much more important card game the bartender was playing. My husband used... More
