A tourist clip joint

Avoid this place. Cheap wine at 175 pesos a glass, anywhere else 60-90. Steak so tough could not cut it, asked for a steak knife, they only had ONE for the whole restaurant. Even then could not cut it, the waiter said to press harder!!! This place has a beautiful setting, a pity the restaurant is... read more

I tried the pizza; It was even worse than the frozen industrial stuff you d buy in a super market. With a glass of wine: about 50 usd. Do not go there the other reviews are correct ; this is a tourist trap

Overpriced, terrible food and still worse wine selection. If you are looking for Argentinean food try Sur ( fancier ) or Diez (great empanadas).

It may look charming but this is the most overpriced place for the worst food in all of Playa del Carmen. The wine is 3 times the price it should be, the steaks, as others have pointed out, are tough and chewy. They add a tip to the bill for terrible service, and also added another item we never ordered... More

Greasy disgusting overpriced food, slow service and of course the infuriating self-added tip (propina) which they don't inform you about until the check arrives. Also: they have a tv-screen inside the restaurant that runs a looped ad for - get this - ANOTHER RESTAURANT. A brazilian place that apparently serves "pizza 24/7". Yes, i litteray sat there for an hour... More

We noticed this restaurant the day before and went last Monday night without reading any reviews! It looks lovely , very romantic with good live music. We had two glasses of champagne, wine, two rib eye steaks and deserts.the food was good but not the best for the prices charged! The service was very slow and although I love candles... More

We were out with friends looking for a nice dinner, we choose The Boston Grill, to start we looked at the wine menu made a selection, the waiter gave us a taste which we appreciated since the bottle price was around $80 US. After a taste we quickly decided the wine was very poor and made another selection, again with... More

The seating is elegant, so I expected a great meal as were we celebrating my birthday. NOT SO.... Ordered the Grilled Lobster and meal did not come with correct sides... got mashed potatoes instead of Caesar salad and pasta. My husband ordered the New York steak and I think he received Top Sirloin. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I would ONLY stop here... More

Absolutely charming atmosphere, but the price was insane. Service slow and my son was sick after eating the lasagne. Disappointing.
