Want chicken sate back!

It's one of our favorite places to gather together with friends and we love their albahaca margarita! But we really really like and want back the chicken sate and many other starters you use to have, please bring them back!

This place is one we visit every time we are in Playa. The sauces are fantastic. Our favorite dish are the Coconut shrimp, Pad Thai, Red and Yellow Curry and the Peanut Sauce (served with the spring rolls). Good Service, Small Place, Gets a bit hot when eating so spicy if you are not outside.

We visited as a couple maybe around 10pm. Unlike earlier in the evening when it was busy enough to have people waiting on the street outside, we were able to sit at the bar immediately. We stayed there although it wouldn't have been a very long wait to switch to a table had we wanted. We were waited on promptly... More

Another enjoyable meal with friends. Still busy and still tasty. One of my favorites in Playa. Food is full flavored with a good variety for all food tastes. I love there Pad Thai. I'll be back

We ordered the spring rolls with peanut sauce, yellow curry with chicken, pad thai with chicken and panicked in peanut sauce (all 1/2 orders) and the they were all amazing! We will be going one more time before we leave for home. We had a lime margarita and a blueberry margarita and they were awesome too.

The best kept secret in Playa del Carmen. Wonderful Thai dishes and incredibly reasonable prices. We spent a month in Thailand and the food here is absolutely authentic and absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced.

We have eaten here several times and enjoy the pad tai. The service is good and the pricing is excellent. We are always surprised to find it closed on Mondays.

What's not to like like? Great food, great atmosphere, fun drinks. Babe's has been a favorite since friends suggested meeting up there for dinner on our first trip to Playa. We've been back at least one or two times on each return visit, primarily for the Korean Seasame noodles with shrimp. Yum!

Babes is one of my favorite restaurants in Playa! You have to arrive early, before 6 pm to get a good seat. it's not very big and can get very crowded, especially on weekends. My family, friends and I have never been disappointed with our choices on the extensive Asian menus. (Even the Swedish Meatballs)!! Reasonable.

Normally, we eat the food of the country we're in. But I had heard about Babe's and so we gave it a try, and we ended up eating there twice. The noodles (house made) came in Japanese, Thai, or Korean style, which we shared. We also shared a generous and perfectly cooked filet of Grouper, which came atop mashed potatoes.... More
