There are few things so gratifying as enjoying a food crave when you are on holiday. And Babes has proven a great place in Playa for all kinds of cravings. Thai food, Mexican cocktails, noodles, and my favorite Fish and Chips.

Went back here several times, the food was fresh and delicious and the frozen cocktails are a sight to behold! I was in love with the noodles while my friend preferred the salads. Great selection though, i miss it!

The best thing I liked about Babes was that you can order half portions! It was the perfect quantity for me. And it was delicious! There rice, noodle, and rice noodle dishes with different sauces, meats, vegetables and tofu. They have lots of juice options, all fresh, in plain, yoghurt smoothie or frappe style. The service was great - the... More

If you're craving for kinda spicy, exotic and not-too-expensive, this is THE PLACE. A few steps from the 5th ave. A must.

Went to babes twice during our stay. Mojitos are amazing as usual. I think their prices have gone up since last year.. But it's still within range for 5th avenue. Only negative I would have... Is that for some reason they never seemed to have samosas. Stopped in 3 times and they never had them, but they had a different... More

After spending two months in Mexico we were craving something different and tried Babe's out for some noodles. The Korean noodles were nice but the Pad Thai didn't really taste like Pad Thai and was pretty average. We thought it was overpriced for what we got.

Garlic Pepper shrimp was good. They offer their plates in full and half portions. Full portion is quite a bit but I finished it. Cool looking place with interesting seating. Located just off 5th avenue. Would go back.

After trying Asiana in PDC because it had such good reviews, and learning it was awful, we were really hesitant to try Babe's . Glad we did...the food was really good. I had garlic and pepper chicken which was very tasty . On the flip side I had a mango margarita which, though it looked impressive, was tasteless. So eat... More

I stopped into Babe's today for a quick lunch. I ordered the crab and shrimp rolls, since I talked to a guy who raved about them. Really mediocre. Only 2 per serving. Got the bill, and it was 195 pesos? I've been charged less at McCormicks and Schmicks in the US for a 5 star entree. Love the ambience here,... More

Everytime we return to Playa, Babe's is our go to for Thai food. Their curry dishes are all good. The salmon with special tartar is my favorite. We've tried a lot of their selections and were are alway satisfied. Yes, the place is warm and noisy, but it makes fun. They do have an air conditioned area in the back.... More
