We were directed here by a local Mexican guy we know, who said this is his favorite restaurant. It is called babes, presumably, because there are 1950's style pinups from the covers of Life magazine and similar photos, hanging everywhere, which were kind of cool. The food seemed like an asian fusion style. We ordered two vietnamese spring rolls, not... More

Babe's is one of our old favorites in Playa Del Carmen. It may be my imagination, but I believe it is getting better with age. We visited twice in the past week; while in the past quality was sometimes inconsistent, this time everything was perfect. We tried the Cashew noodles with shrimp and peanut sauce (my favourite), the Pad Thai,... More

We went to Babe's Noodles and Bar when we were staying at the Iberostar Tucan. If you order a margarita or daiquiri it comes frozen and huge. They have to put it on a separate plate because it melts and drips all down the sides its so big. I don't think there is much tequila in it though. I would... More

So if your like me and you love some Chinese food, or just Asian in general, then is place is a great option for rolls and noodles. In Playa it can be a little old the tacos and Mexican food. If your here for a week, no problem, but if you love here or or just need your noodles, babes... More

An interesting, eclectic menu. The Pad Thai was excellent. Scandinavian husband raved about the Swedish meatballs....as good as his grandmothers, the ultimate compliment! Will definitely return.

While the food was good, the atmosphere was crowded, noisy and very hot. These things don't normally bother me; the vibe is sometimes quite welcoming. But the food and drinks can be quite expensive for what you getI feel there are far better places to eat.

After eating way too much Mexican food, this was a great change of pace. Interesting cocktails with passion fruit and basil. The coconut fish appetizer was really good (that should have been my meal). The theme of the small place is pin-up girls from 50's men's magazines. Fun place to avoid the heat.

Babe's noodle house and bar has amazing food!! The Swedish meatballs are to die for!! The best I have ever had. Everything we had there was amazing!! The cheese sticks for an appetizer were divine. The sauce that you dip(can't remember the name) it in is unique but wonderful!! The menu is a lot of choices so you will be... More

Went here for dinner with friends. Had spring rolls, chicken with spicy peanut sauce, pad Thai and curry. The food was good with just the right amount of spice. For four of us to have drinks, appetizers and entrees it was around $100. This seemed like a really good deal for the amount of items that we ordered. Only thing... More
