Great fresh fish!

A great place to eat fresh fish! The nice thing about this place is that you are able to pick the fish you want to eat. In order to do this you need to go next-door to there fridge and pick it out! It is great for lunch, nothing fancy, and don't expect great service, food highly recommend it!

I went to this place with high hopes. Very disappointing, the service at this place is horrible,i mean it was the worst i have ever had on this planet. It took forever to get seated, the place is very small. Once i was seated it took all day to get someone to the table, and then when i ordered my beer,it... More

Family operated fish shack. The fresh catch every day. The mero is very good and the caracol ceviche is great. The whole fish fried is algo great. Its a little messy for take out.

At first glance this place doesn't look like anything special. The number of people waiting on the street for a table is a tell-tale sign though that it is a restaurant worth eating at. The pirates/servers were happy to set up a large table for our party of 11 on the sidewalk. The menu(english or spanish)had a wide variety of... More

Though I'd known of this restaurant for a number of years i'd just never made it here. Finally ate here this year and wished I'd gone previously. Our table had the mixed seafood ceviche and the whole fried fish (with all the fixings). Everything was awesome. Really loved being able to go back and pick my own fish out of... More

This was recommended by someone I rented a condo from. It was right up the block and he said it was the best seafood you'll find. The restaurant is always packed so prepare for a wait and a wait for your food. But promise you wont be disappointed. My boyfriend got fried filet of fish and fried blue crabs. He... More

We had been recommended this place by locals and friends and were expecting the real deal of fresh fish and seafood in general. We knew it was a whole in the wall type of place so that wasn't the problem. Now the waiter comes and offers drinks but they had no water... Fine we can have a beer we ordered... More

Heard some great things about this place, rolled up for lunch, no water available and no grilled whole fish on the menu, only deep fried. Guacamole was fine and at 50 peso's cant complain then ordered the Octopus al ajillo and is was greasy and left a bad taste in my mouth. No doubt it was fresh but there are... More

Clean and well cooked seafood worth of visiting! They have a seafood store next to it, so everything is fresh! You must try the "Chivitas", a scargot ceviche! Just delicious! Try the Shrimp ceviche, it is great tasting with a cold beer and enough for to persons: just $160 pesos! Hope you get lucky and find the live music. Enjoy!!

The food was good and the location is great. We went for an early dinner and I think they were closing for the night. They were out of guacamole, which greatly saddened me, but everything we did get was good. Not as good a value as La Tarraya, a little farther down the beach.
