Tasty and accomodating

Food, beverages, waitstaff, service were all excellent. They even made me just chayote squash for my vegetables - my favorite. We considered getting take out breakfast for the next day since we had an early start - they were more than willing to accommodate us even though it was dinner time. It is... read more

I have now eaten here several times and each time the food has been excellent. Get there early as there has been a line of hungry people eager for excellent chilaquiles each time I have visited. Cash only so come prepared.

There is waiting list and it can be hot outside but is way worth it. From the beverage they offer while waiting until our last dish it was wonderful. Real food from the south with amazing flavor. Service is good, but they are a bit undermanned, so they do everything fast. Our waitress made wonderful proposals.

We visited 3 times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch we're both delicious, great service and good value. Dinner was ok, great service, but expensive. The space is kitschy as you eat under a tree canopy with small rivers and ponds filled with fish and turtles - bug spray is a must. Overall, you need to experience their... More

Good breakfast, lots of tourists and sometimes rushed service. No wifi and quite buggy at times because the surroundings are lush and green and meticulously landscaped. It's on the more expensive end for breakfast for Playa standards.

Do yourself a favour and don't miss this joint. Some contemporary Mexican combined with real fusion dishes, served up by a highly attentive and friendly wait crew. Loved the sesame crusted tuna - highly recommended. Great details in the setup as well, from personal table fans to the artwork for sale and the turtle ponds. And best of all -... More

The atmosphere here is so relaxing, this would be a great place to get away from all the harassment on 5th. You turn a corner, and suddenly you are on a tree-shaded street. The building itself is very organic and decorated with recycled glass. Our service and food were great. We really enjoyed our juices and the pastry board that... More

Darling! Great for kids with live fish and great decor! Food was very good, too! Did not love the fresh juice, only because it was warm. It can be very hot inside so sit by a fan! A must go though!

This place is the best! A terrifically run restaurant! It is such a charming open air space on a quaint street leading to the beach. My boyfriend and I ate there twice for breakfast on a four night jaunt to Playa. The waitstaff is excellent and attentive. The food was wonderful and well seasoned. We loved the crepes, the French...
