This romantic restaurant is tucked in a courtyard right off Avenida Quinta. We had the grilled sea bass and homemade ravioli in truffle sauce. It was excellent. The service is wonderful. The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team that personally make sure your meal was satisfactory.

This restaurant is right off Avenida Quinta, but believe it or not, is secluded and quiet. We had sea bass and homemade pasta and it was outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive. We would very much recommend this.

Tiny Italian restaurant far enough off 5th Avenue that the owner has to hawk business by standing on the street. The food is way too good for that. We had wonderful pastas. The bolognese was unique. The fish other diners had looked excellent. Don't pass this place up. Husband and wife own and run the place

Our friends suggested this Italian restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's a little more expensive than other places, but the pasta was extraordinary. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine which had an abundance of sautéed shrimp. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was incredibly good. It wasn't heavy or thick, but extremely flavorful. My husband had the... More

The restaurant is small and the food very good. The menu is ambitious for a small restaurant, but they do it well. Hand made pasta is their specialty. In a garden courtyard off 5th Avenue, the open air location is quiet and pleasant.

I have been coming to Playa del Carmen since 2001 and everytime I come, I eat in Casa Mediterranean. The food is excellent, the owners are very attentive. For me, the pasta with lobster is the best, but anything in the menu is good. I have never been disappointed like other restaurants in Playa. The quality of the food is... More

We an outstanding meal here. Entrees were large enough to share. Spagetthi Logosta was simply divine. The chocolate merangue dessert was delicious and really homemade. They make all their own pastas here.

First time at this restaurant we were blown away by the pasta. I had lobster fettucine and it was so delicious! The waiter was so accommodating as I wanted a simple white wine sauce and my husband wanted a red sauce. We both got what we wanted and both were great. The 2nd time, my husband had steak that simply... More

Wife and I visit playa every year on her birthday; we eat at casa mediterranea each time. It's definitely our favorite. Great fish, great pasta and reasonably priced
