Tucked away off 5th Avenue

A small restaurant in an alley off 5th avenue. Lovely, treed setting. excellent menu choices. Dinnerware is intriguing. Waiters are welcoming and service oriented. I think the owner is in the store and may even be cooking. Attention to details like garnishes is evident. I recommend the... read more

A small restaurant in an alley off 5th avenue. Lovely, treed setting. excellent menu choices. Dinnerware is intriguing. Waiters are welcoming and service oriented. I think the owner is in the store and may even be cooking. Attention to details like garnishes is evident. I recommend the appetizer Potatoes Rosemary and Octopus. Light sauce that melds the flavors well.

This is an excellent little Italian restaurant just off the beaten path. Great pasta and fresh seafood. Would have given top rating but it took so long to get our check and pay the bill (they were very busy but was still hard to get our waiters attention).

The plethora of hyperbolic reviews, this venue's devotees submit are fully justified with the private feeling of being in a tree house in a forest. The setting is great. This writer is puzzled, however, with the overwhelming praise of the cuisine. The food was not much beyond average. The server was engaging and accommodating. The bread was quite good with... More

This restaurant is located in a really nice alley way which has several art galleries in it. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and made sure the service and food was to a very high standard.

Those who want to vary their dinners between Mexican food and other cuisines, should really visit Casa Mediterranea. It is not the easiest place to find, since it's located in a small street just from Avenida 5, between calle 6 and 8 norte. There are about 16 tables and 4 waiters, so the service is perfect. They do have the... More

This place is just off 5th Ave between 6th & 8th Norte back in the trees. The food, the wine, it's all great. It's just back enough from 5th Ave to be quiet. We loved it. The tip was added, but it was only15% which is normal for us, so that was not a problem. Would go back any time... More

I chose to have my 30th birthday dinner at this amazing restaurant. The setting is beautiful, Lucas took great care of us, and not to mention the fresh pasta was to die for! Thank you for making my birthday evening extra special!

Imagine a peaceful courtyard just off 5th. No gawkers walking by, incredible food, great service and a real Italian waiter. The Tuna steak was done to perfection. The spinach no jive was delightful, as were all four dishes. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I had dinner there with friends two days ago andwe had a wonderful time with wonderful italian food. All of us had a different pasta dish and they were all excellent. My lasagna was wonderful with soft hand made pasta and a little taste of nutmeg and pancetta as in italy. My friend had raviolis and you could very well... More
