My name is Alex and I´m a diving Instructor in Puerto Aventuras. I like to take my friends to this restaurant so they can have a taste of the real Yucatecan food, I have never been disappointed until last Thursday (August the 7th) when I met there with a friend from New York at 7pm. Around 9:20 pm, there was... More

If you are looking for a yucateca food local place, this is it!! It is very easy to find it because it is by the road towards Cancun, any taxi driver will take you there. They have a plate called Cochinita Pibil, I tried the dish and also salbutes with cochinita, they are just delicious. My husband loved the whole... More

I'm not sure why is it that our friend thought it was a good idea to bring us to this restaurant, but it sure was different... And not in the "cool different" kind of way. The only reason I can think of is the cost of the food, which did seem lower than other establishments in Playa. As is usually... More

The restaurant was recommended by a few locals so we decided to try it. Looking at the menu, there was a taste platter that seemed to have everything we wanted to try so between 5, we ordered it. The waiter was so helpful and explained all of the dishes. Many we had never had before and a lot of meat... More

We went to this restaurant and the food was average. What we did not appreciate was that the waiters made an error when adding up our bill and added an extra 50 pesos. Of course this could have been by accident, but this is not the first time that this has happened to us at this restaurant which makes me... More

We avoid fifth like the plague (or dengue) except for Yaxche. Yucatecan cuisine is served much better here for a lower price. Everything is delicious, service is friendly and fast. Five of us ordered the meal for four, ad they extended us the coutesy of serving five empanadas, tostadas and more. This place is worth it.
