Will try is soon.

We ate there with Alex, the dive instructor, several years ago, and had a great evening! We shared the HUGH sampler platter for the three of us, with more than enough for four or five more people! LOTS of interesting items on the platter, with things I had never before seen when travelling in... read more

This restaurant is cheap and cheerful and popular with locals, and offers a wide selection of Mexican and American dishes. Our group sat on plastic chairs around a table and puzzled over the English translations on the menu; I was very amused by 'divorced eggs' and wondered what on earth they were; when I came home I looked them up... If you like to try regional food when you travel this is the place to go (although this is Yucatan's food, not Quintana Roo's food). I can recommend "sopa de Lima", "relleno negro", "papatzules" and "poc chuc". Prices are reasonable and they also have an a/c area if it gets too hot for you.

If you want authentic Yukatan food, this is the place. Cochinita Pibil is just one of the typical dishes and is very well done here. Forget the other places in Playa and eat here. Delicious and friendly and could not believe how affordable this place is.

Wow, what great Yucatecan and Mayan food. Had the dinner for 4, cut in half and it feed three of us. So many tastes from pork, beef, chicken pobil, some sausage...of course these are not the true names as I cannot recall each dish, but this gave a sample of their cusine. Seriously, it was awesome. In the heart of... More

My name is Alex and I´m a diving Instructor in Puerto Aventuras. I like to take my friends to this restaurant so they can have a taste of the real Yucatecan food, I have never been disappointed until last Thursday (August the 7th) when I met there with a friend from New York at 7pm. Around 9:20 pm, there was... More

If you are looking for a yucateca food local place, this is it!! It is very easy to find it because it is by the road towards Cancun, any taxi driver will take you there. They have a plate called Cochinita Pibil, I tried the dish and also salbutes with cochinita, they are just delicious. My husband loved the whole... More

I'm not sure why is it that our friend thought it was a good idea to bring us to this restaurant, but it sure was different... And not in the "cool different" kind of way. The only reason I can think of is the cost of the food, which did seem lower than other establishments in Playa. As is usually... More

This restaurant was recomended by the woman thag ran the concesikn stand at ghe blue cenote and boy was she wrong. I asked her for a restautant that served good local food. What we got was... More

The restaurant was recommended by a few locals so we decided to try it. Looking at the menu, there was a taste platter that seemed to have everything we wanted to try so between 5, we ordered it. The waiter was so helpful and explained all of the dishes. Many we had never had before and a lot of meat... More
