If you're looking for an Italian restaurant in Playa Del Carmen, with an extensive menu, good quality authentic food, efficient attentive service and air conditioning then look no further than Rolandi's! Three of us shared a starter of calamari and zucchini followed by various pizzas and drinks for under 750 pesos - so also good value, at least in comparison... More

Our last nite in Playa and this was delish! Service wonderful and quick. Beer served in frosty glasses, coldest in Mexico!! Calamari is so tender and perfectly cooked. Our table had salmon, pasta, fish and pizza and all were wonderful. Best meal we had in Playa. Bread is so good too and tiramisu got 2 thumbs up! Just lovely! Prices... More

I still find it kind of weird that I travel to Mexico to have some of my favorite Italian food. What can I say, their garlic bread is to die for, the pastas are all great, and don't even get me going on their seafood!! Combine this with some good stuff drinks from their bar and this place is a... More

We always visit Rolandi’s for our first dinner out, either in Cancun or Playa del Carmen. In recent years, we have ordered #59; Fettucini with shrimp & vodka sauce, priced this year at 155 pesos. Rolandi’s is famous for the warm garlic pita bread with dipping oil served while your entrée is prepared. We have always had a pasta meal,... More

This is just around the corner from our resort,Playacar Palace, on the south end of 5th in Playa Del Carmen. We went there on our last night, and the service and food where both realy good. Prices were reasonable as well. Thanks Omar for taking good care of us.

Ambiance: Very nice! Interior furnishings are pleasant and well maintained. Tables far enough apart to have a bit of privacy. Everything clean and felt new. Staff: Very good. Excellent english skills, and prompt and accommodating. Drink: Good wine list, with an excellent mini-carafe cooler for white wine by the glass that other restaurants worldwide should emulate. Decent selection of beer,... More

Unfortunate cul-de-sac location for this Rolandi's restaurant which disguises an amazingly good meal. We had excellent fish dish and super, home-made pasta. Oil nad garlic drizzled pita bread to start and good coffee to finish. The atmosphere was upscale too. Just a short walk from Playacar Phase I where we were staying at the Xaman Ha Condos.

Friends of ours wanted to introduce us to their favourite place so we had their takeout. They seemed to love it but we ordered their pizza which as ok. There are better pizza options elsewhere in Playa del Carmen for sure.

I used to visit ronaldi on every visit to the riviera maya. But after a bizarre conversation with their manager, i sadly waved bye bye because of a silly discussion. When i ordered today a meal for 8 people (not cheap). They wanted to charge addition for the pizza box since its not an ingredient (whatever that means). If you... More
