The Brownies are the best we've ever had. The lattes were also very good, complete with latte art that stayed to the last drop. After finding this place we went back every night for a latte and dessert. We went to both locations in Playa and found the one on the corner of 5th and Constituyentes to be the best.... more

Discovered Ah Cacao on 1st visit to Playa del Carmen and went back specifically to get more chocolate bars and brownies. So nice to bring back gifts that are truly made in Mexico. more
Went to the new Playa Del Carmen shop on November 09,2009. Excellent cappuccino and brownies. Friendly service, great location. Will go back the next time I'm in Playa more

Don't waste your time going to Starbucks...go to the local coffee shop Ah Cacao and get some delicious coffee and brownies. The service is great and the people watching location too. more
My sister and I visited the Ah Cacao in Playa and got iced lattes. This is a staple item for me here in the states and get from either Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks but this place blew them away!! Thank you very much for your feedback. We put a lot of effort into making all our drinks as good as possible and it's great when somebody notices! The US online store sells the same whole bean coffee we use in our store, which you grind for espresso. Alternatively, you can place a special order for pre-ground coffee. The reason...
