A Great place for eating, drinking and dancing!!!

We were very lucky when choosing this place since we had a great food, fresh Mojito’s and there was a life band with 2 girls from Cuba playing and singings songs from this area. We even danced that evening and lot of people were dancing too. I order a Ceviche and frit bananas (platanos fritos) this... read more

Visited as a couple just for drinks on a Sunday night; wasn't too busy but they had a Cuban sounding band on that were very pleasant. Servers were efficient however the drinks (a mango Mojito and a Moxito) were truly diabolical. Mint had gone a bit manky and they didn't use enough of any of the key ingredients (rum/tequila, lime... We just wanting to sit somewhere, grab a quick bite and a drink. We decided the next place that was not too crowded, yet not empty, would be the place we chose. It happened to be La Bodeguita. We were very happy with that decision. The service was excellent….as were the Mojitos. I had Black Bean Soup and Cuban Meatballs.... More

The food was to die for and everything was fantastic the service was excellent and we couldn't of asked for a better experience by far the best food that I have eaten! If you're going to drink definitely try the Mojito it is the best I've ever had in my entire life. I really hope they bring these to America.

I didn't know they made a franchise out of this and honestly, I don't have any plans for traveling to Cuba. The place has live music -very good music- and the food is above average: Good CubanTortas, Pork loin with tamarind sauce, masitas, fried green plantain. But the Flan de Cajeta and Flan de naranja are the best desserts ever.... More

My boyfriend and I are pretty big into food. We're lucky enough to live in the California wine country so we can be pretty spoiled by all of the fantastic restaurants in our area. So when we say something is AMAZING...we really mean it! A picture of the Torta Cubana went strait to my boyfriend's Facebook page the minute we... More

What an amazing and vibey restaurant. We had no expectation of the place and our waiter, Paolo, who has so much passion for the restaurant and his job, literally took care of everything from recommending and ordering all our dishes for us. He was so caring that I actually thought he was the owner..... The fish taco's were spectacular, as... More

I am going to start by saying, I am Cuban American, a foodie and Culinary student, so I am a tough critic. The food was very tasty. We had a bunch of appetizers before our dinner elsewhere. Shrimp Ceviche black beans, habanero, coconut milk, key lime and cilantro,Mariquitas Plantain Chips black bean salsa and they came with 3 dipping sauces,... More

Best Michelada in Playa !! I know they're known for their Mojitos. I didn't have to tweek this one at all. I have not eaten at this location but have many times at the one in Puerto Vallarta. The place is very clean!! Great atmosphere and the bartenders are very friendly and on their "A" game.

My husband and I love this restaurant. Authentic Cuban food and the Mojitos are fabulous. The service is great and the atmosphere it contagious with the best live music. If you're traveling to Playa Del Carmen Mx, it's a must to stop there and enjoy the food, drinks, and the music. I give them two thumbs upon!
