My boyfriend and I came here for lunch. It was wonderful! I had shrimps in their spicy sauce. It was so flavorful and so delicately cooked. You can tell that the chef put so much effort into cooking the dishes. It was a bit pricey, but it was well worth it!

we visited Playa del Carmen in March 2015 and came across this gem of a restaurant. At first we thought it might be to expensive but the staff warmly greeted us and invited us to come in. We were not disappointed. We ordered Mayan Margarita's to start - delicious and then we ordered the the Mayan Majita's. Each of us... More

Delicious food and great service. Try all the wonderful specialties that they have for the main course. Right on the Avenue.

We tried this place on our last night in Playa, aware that its location on 5th Avenue and its target market meant that it would be expensive and, we feared, perhaps not entirely authentic. But the good reviews on Trip Advisor drew us in, and we weren't disappointed. We were offered two free margaritas on the house, and the service... More

We had dinner here on the second night of our trip. Easy to find on the main strip. Sat at a table outside at street level right on the edge of the street. If you don’t mind a fairly constant barrage of roving musicians, and flower vendors, charming! Service was friendly. I think they are used to people ordering everything... More

We have never had Mayan food before and try to avoid the "tourist" restaurants on 5th Ave but tried this restaurant based on the positive reviews. We were very impressed with the food, its subtle flavors and the professional service. We tried the appetizer sampler which was very unique & flavorful. Likewise the entrees were quite good. My wife had... More

This place is a must. I mean, you ARE in the Mayan Riviera right?! This is the best/only Mayan cuisine in Playa. They have the BEST duck on this planet. I am not a duck fan typically, however, they have a pulled duck taco appetizer... After the table whoofed down MY order, we ordered 3 more... I can only describe... More

Ok that the restaurant it's on the fifth avenida and is overpriced like any other restaurant there, but our dinner was really bad. The food was served cold and the service was not great. We got the mix platter for appetizer and main and it was really disappointing. Nothing was good and little food for that much money. Just don't... More

We made a last minute decision to have dinner hear on our first night in Playa and we were very happy we did. The food was well prepared and the service was excellent. I highly recommend a tableside dessert preparation from Benito!!!
