I was very disappointed with this place. The food and drinks were just okay. The waiter brought our check and it said at the bottom proxima ... Which means tip. So I asked him of this total included the check and he said No that is the tax. What a lair. I would have tipped at least 20% had he... More

6 of us stopped for lunch while strolling past. The fajitas were very good, the nachos were okay (just chips, chicken, beans and cheese. Would be much better with some fresh ingredients), fish tacos were not good (mayo ruined them), small beef tacos were excellent, and the burito was big and really good. The service was very attentive. The price... More

It is always great to try one more colorful restaurant on Playa del Carmens main drag. Pez Vela seems like it is more for a lively adult crown who come for the drinks. But the food was not pub food. I had a bowl of Lime Soup and a spicy chicken dish, my wife had the coconut chicken. With drinks... More

Best drinks, best food and a great spot to people watch. This place has the best spot of 5th Ave for sure. Fajitas are amazing here. Get stuck in!

Novelty place... maybe. Tourist trap... possibly. Who cares! You are in Playa so enjoy! A group of 6 of us stopped at the "swing bar" while cruising 5th Ave. We only have a few drinks and didn't order any food. The atmosphere was fun, the swings a blast, the beer was cold and our bartender was awesome! We all signed... More

I guess I expected more when having lunch here. So, to start with, of course we are walking down the 5th ave. shopping area's and my mother in law picked a place to eat saying that the menu looked good. Overall, the food was ok. My wifes and my lunch were done and decently at that. My meat was a... More

Super nice staff at the Pez Vela. Kids had a plate of nachos and my wife was serenaded by guitar playing mariachi's. A great spot to duck in for a beer and some fish tacos. The fish tacos were fabulous and you sit in a swing instead of on a barstool. Great time.

Bar, cold beer, swings...Perfect afternoon with friends. This is a great corner spot on 5th Ave to watch the people and enjoy a cold beer

During my stay, I received oje of the worst service during my entire stay! The staff lacked communication and also a proper attitude. In addition, the food was not good at all due to the fact that the seafiod was not fresh nor was it cooked well either.
