This is yet another great review of Byblos. I'm lucky enough to live in Cancun and get down to Byblos every now and again. This was a "going away" dinner for my nephew who is headed back to his home town and his choice was "Byblos". I had the duck breast, my favorite-never fails dish. We shared the mussels and... More

We ended up here late afternoon, after fellow residents at our resort recommended it. They did not steer us wrong. The escargot was the best ever, even asked for more bread to soak up the butter sauce. The prices are very reasonable. We are at the grand mayan, with only a few dinner options, and even with the $45-50 round... More

The owner/chef Sylvie and her husband Christian welcomed us in, and we were immediately charmed by the warm vibe in the dining room. After looking at the menu and getting some recommendations on food and wine from the chef herself, we had high expectations for the food - and they were totally blown away. We ordered appetizers, main courses and... More

My wife and I have been staying at a nearby resort and eating "gourmet" meals from an all-inclusive package. The meals have not been gourmet and we needed to have a great meal. We first went to Oh Lala but they had no reservations available. The kind man at the restaurant recommended Byblos and it was excellent. Sylvie and her... More

The best French restaurant here; pates, foie gras, kidney, lamb, rabbit, seafood, and much more. Excellent wines, cooled if desired and then decanted. The service was perfect. Not every time has been perfect; but, I have seldom had a better meal in Playa. They have a low priced menu from 3:00 to 7:30.

If you want something else than the crowded 5th avenue, this is the place to be! Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and great food and wines. It was our best in playa!

Ate here at least 3 times during my recent stay in playa. Go before 7:30 and get their special 3 course meal for a great pice which includes a glass of wine. Never have had a bad meal here. Has outdoor seating but also has an area with ac.

Amazing! Great service. Great food. Ceviche was the best I have had. Limited number of tables. Was recommended to us when we couldn't get into oh lala. We were not disappointed.

We ate here twice and look forward to going back on our next trip to Playa. The restaurant has a full menu as well as a 3 course set menu which includes a glass of wine for $195 pesos which we all had. The food was amazing. We all had different dishes from appetizers, vegetarian lasagna, beef bourgeon and delicious... More

Friends introduced us to Byblos a couple nights ago and what a great place it turned out to be. The owners are so nice and the service was wonderful. We all had something different and loved it. We'll definitely go back many times. It would be a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Their new location is at... More
