Best Meal in Playa!

Just returned from my annual girl's trip to Playa and had dinner here the last night. It was amazing! The 5 of us had calamari and a whole sea bass and red snapper . I will have to say the snapper was the best fish I have ever had. Our meal for 5 w/ drinks was $75 before tip. We... read more

La Pesca or La Pesca Maya or Langostina Maya? We think there might have been a name change, so here's the address: 30 Ave near Ave Constituyentes. This is a MUST eat place. It is very unassuming and tourist friendly. The waiters were great and we were made to feel very comfortable. And the food was fabulous. Five of us... More

The restaurant name has changed its name to Langostina Maya but it is still owned by Antonio. Many of the family members work at the restaurant and they are always friendly and the service is great. You can pick out your fish and have it prepared as you like. The red snapper is the best I have ever had. The... More

Visited la pesca maya after a recommendation from an expat living in PDC. It's name has changed to Langostina Maya. All I can say is WOW! Very friendly, efficient service from the charming waiters. It's obvious they are proud of the food they serve. We had various dishes and can't fault even one! The crab ceviche was the best I've... More

super spot in Playa across from Mega. Fresh fish and seafood. Our group of 4 picked out 2 good sized grouper from the fresh fish display and they charcoal grilled them for us with garlic, it was wonderful. The prices are very reasonable and they interior of the restaurant is very authentic.

Now called Langosteria Maya, this is a must-go-to in Playa. Right across from the Mega, on 30th between 16th and 18th, they have fresh seafood, huge portions, delicious margaritas, great service, and you can people watch all you want during your meal. The whole fish can be done to your liking, and the shrimp is delicious as well. I was... More

La pesca restaurant is not on 5th avenue. It is on 30th ave. across from the Mega store (Their Walmart). The seafood there is great and the prices are reasonable. The owner antonio does his best to ensure you have an enjoyable meal. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

A stone's throw from the high priced eateries on 5th avenue but well worth the diversion. Excellent FRESH seafood at very reasonable prices. Great service and ambience. Diverse menu and it all tastes great! Well worth the trip and you will be happy to come back again and again. Due to a problem with the name (conflict with a restaurant... More
