We have been dining at Pesca for 7 years, and have never been disappointed. Last night''s 3 lobster tail special at around $30 can't be beat for price, and all was grilled to perfection.. My husband's Tikin Xic fish covered with peppers, onions, and spices, and grilled wrapped in a banana leaf was more than he could finish. Service is... More

I recently had 2 meals here. The shrimp tacos and fajitas are excellent. The service was good. I had a mojito which was of good quality but a little overpriced.

I asked how much will be the price for cooked lobster. The waiter told me price for the pound and in pesos. I asked again, approximately. He should know, how much it cost, he works here. He told me, it will be 370 pesos. In my head, I calculated, that it will be about $28.00, if I pay with credit... More

My wife and I visited La Pesca on our recent trip to Playa and was a little disappointed in our food. My wife wanted the whole fish (by the kilo) but was talked into the whole fish special that was advertised on their chalkboard when we entered. She hesitated to order that (even though it was a lot cheaper), but... More

La Pesca was one of a few local restaurants recommended by my concierge. I'm always looking for something small and out of the way where you can get good food at a good price and experience local life. La Pesca did not disappoint. We were greeted with a friendly face and warm atmosphere. La Pesca had this outdoor kind of... More

We had great Mexican food at La Pesca Maya. The place is very low key and casual but the food is better than most restaurants we ate it at Playa. I had a whole fish (you get the pick the specific fish you want from the catch of the day). The fish was really well cooked. The tortilla soup was... More

On a recent trip to Walmart, we stopped in to have a quick snack and libation on a walk about at La Pesca, and the food was so good, stayed for a full luncheon, the food was well prepared and delicious and the drinks were large and well made. Located across the street from MEG.

We stopped in here on a recommendation from a local friend of a friend while looking for ceviche. We were told that this place had the freshest in town, and man were they right. On our first visit we went for lunch. They poured us tall drinks and we ordered the mixed fish ceviche. it contained octopus, fish, shrimp and... More

I went to la Pesca with my friends on March 2014, whenever I travel I try to go the places where the locals eat and wow, this place is fantastic. The location is bad, in front of the Mega store, there were only locals eating so the atmosphere was nothing to talk home about, however, the food was spectacular. We... More
