Well, Starbucks are now all over Merida - they are taking over the world with their average 'joe' coffee. When they first came to Merida they were a novelty because the locals did NOT drink coffee. They are no longer a novelty. They are packed in most every location in Merida. I am not sure why. The coffee is the... More

If this is the Starbucks on Paseo Montego then it's awesome. One the best Starbucks on the planet. Mainly because of the gorgeous building they placed it in. Not a typical Starbucks look by any means. Of course the menu is pretty much the same. It's all about the gorgeous building for me. Super clean bathrooms as well.

Good seats outside. Watch the traffic go by. Sit inside if you prefer. Breakfast paninis are tasty with chipotle.

I have to admit, I have visited this Starbucks several times but for only one reason. My favorite coffee place nearby has closed and nothing else in the neighborhood. But with so many places serving good coffee which is grown in Mexico, why does anyone go here. Name recognition and star power, I suppose. First, I drink what is called... More

Check out this place on the Paseo de Montejo. Converted from one of the mansions along this street making it one of the most expensive Starbucks properties in the world. Great to sit outside under the shade.

wow, this is incredible to me...almost 30 idiots who choose not only to go to Starbucks in the first place (which is absurd because it's the worst coffee on the planet) but they choose to go to Starbucks when visiting the Yucatan Peninsula (where they actually GROW coffee)...and then to cap that all off they feel the need to review... I'm usually a snob about Starbucks and prefer to find alternative espresso cafes. But the Starbucks on Paseo de Montejo in Merida became a refuge from the heat and crowds of Merida. And the coffee was excellent and about the same price as the U.S. It's new and the building is a white, classic Spanish design. It looks like an... More
