After having read the many great reviews, my expectations were high, way too high. While the service was friendly and prompt, the food was a hugh disappoinment. It was bland and with little flavor and certainly not of the quality of any other Thai restaurants that I have eaten in. The menu was limited and when we asked for desert,... More

Pure pleasure for your tastebuds. You may not find some of the classics of your American Thai Food restaurant, but keep an open mind and you will not be disappointed by this delicious authentic Thai cusine. Service is friendly and homey.

Although we stayed in the center of Mérida we were really curious about the Thai food served at this restaurant after having read the reviews, so we crossed the city. And it was definitely worth it! Delicious dishes, prepared by the Thai wife of the Mexican owner of the restaurant. The 'té de la casa' was really good as well.... More

All I have tried here is amazing, but make sure you order the Papaya salad and the coconut milk and mushroom soup, they are in my opinion the dishes you can't miss. All the food tastes like real thai food, it is definitely a place where you can eat something different. Great service, good prices and excellent food. Don't miss... More

The one noodle dish (pad thai I believe) is Mondays only. Waaa. I'll bet it was good because my chicken with green curry was delicious! Nice people, too!

I was delighted to find out there was a Thai restaurant in Merida. I read some good reviews and decided it was worth the 65-70 peso taxi ride from the centro. The owners could not have been nicer.... My 1st trip they did not have jasmine rice.... I asked them if they could get it for my next visit (Thai... More

The food is good, but not extraordinary, clearly a lot of push reviews out here to help get the new show on the road, but in reality this is a good but not great place and should not be ranked as high as it is. Applaud the efforts of the owners but respect the quality of other hard working restaurateurs... More

We visited Casa Thai after getting Yucatecaned out during our stay in Merida. The food was authentic and tasty. The couple who runs this cucina is very sweet and between them speak Spanish, English, Chinese, and Thai fluently. The have a wonderful story and showed us pictures of their travels in Asia. We felt like we were dining at a... More
