A sweet restaurant. Plenty of seating options including a private dining room. A good place for any size group. Great waiters. Very attentive. Lots of choices on the menu. My puttanesca was excellent. I loved the spinach ravioli that my wife had. Salad was a bit small but tasty. The fish got rave reviews at our table. I would try... More

Let your self go with the recomendations, the "champiniones a los 4 quesos" or "la s verduras con queso de cabra" for starters are great, the pasta is very good olso, but you have to try the steaks and fishes, good wine and desserts

Had an excellent salad and a pasta meal! I rarely eat a full portion; but this was so good I ate all. Service was attentive.

Merida is known for it's excellent Mayan and Mexican cuisine. However Villa Italian is a hidden gem for those that crave the best of Italian food. We joined two long-term expat residents of Merida who embody the best of gourmets. This restaurant is now the only place they frequent. Now we know why. The food was really extraordinary. Superb antipastos.... More

We regularly go to this restaurant and find it an excellent value. The specials are always good. The spaghetti carbonara is my favorite. They have undergone a recent expansion and I do not find the waiters as attentive as they ere earlier.

This restaurant was recommended to us by two expats living in Merida. It is about a 50 peso cab ride from the center. The pasta was very well done. The cap reuse salad was good but lacked flavorful tomatoes. The antipasti plate was typical and had some good cheeses. This is a nice break from Mexican food.

Another place i have visited often over the years, but in the last year or so i find myself less inspired. it seems that portions have diminished substantially and prices have gone up around 30% in the last year. The pasta is good, food is fresh, prices are still not expensive, but a few years ago you would come out... More

Never ever had anything close to a bad meal there. I really don't think that would ever happen there. I would order anything on the menu with confidence.
