If you can not trust to get an honest bill then can you trust the food? I've thought about this and I say NO.

Very nice atmosphere, food is good. Try queso relleno is excellent. Is Gouda cheese with ground meat condiments and gravy made out of flour. Poc chuc is very good as well. Sopa the Lima is very good. For dessert flan napolitano the best.

We had walked past this restaurant on the way to the main square and noticed it was never very busy. Still, one day at noon, we decided to try it. Again, there were very few clients. We were greeted at the door by a lovely lady dressed in traditional colonial Yucatecan dress (huipile, etc.) and shown to our table. The plastic... More

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is charming, but the food is terrible. With so many wonderful places to eat, and such delicious food all about Merida, don't waste your time or money on this place! We ordered two chaya drinks, two entrees, and one dessert and the bill came to $681 pesos, not including the tip! That is... More

I don't write many reviews, as I am busy, so the ones I do write are about places and people I feel strongly about. Up until now my reviews have all been positive, we have met some lovely people and had some historic meals that we have truely enjoyed over the past few years and our travels in Cuba and... More

We were so disappointed with the restaurant. The first few times we went there it was good and I wrote a very good review. This time however it was a disaster. The waiters almost completely ignored us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. They were on their cell phones most of the time. The waiter mixed... More

We went for supper. The meal was good, the service was good as well. There was no bread offered before the meal came. The main waiter we had was very friendly. Definitely the ambiance of the place does not match some of the others places in the Centro Merida area that are in the same price range.

We ate here twice, once for lunch by ourselves and then with friends. The food was absolutely incredible. The waitstaff each time was friendly and the service extremely good. The brochettes (2 huge) were fabulous as were the cheese empanadas. The portions are large so we ordered two appetizers and two entrees and shared. It was plenty for the four... More
