Good food not Fast food

Run by the "Pizza Nazi" similar to the "Soup Nazi" in TV's Friends but service staff is very good and the food is good. Just don't be scraping your chairs around or trying to move the tables on your own...

This was a surprise. Although we got the impression they can only bake one pizza at a time, because only one came at a time to our table, when it arrived it was absolutely delicious, thin crust and one of the best in memory. Don't show up much before 7 pm. The first time we found them still closed. happy... More

When we're in the mood for pizza this is the place. There is a woman who serves us and she never gets our order wrong. She is a whirling dervish and an absolute delight. The wines are good, my husband particularly likes one of the Italian red wines. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and double the mozzarella.... More

Probably the best Pizza in Mérida (definitely the best we ate!) paired with a great service. Unfortunately you can only pay cash.

Best Pizza in Merida. Thin crust fresh ingredients. Nothing to expand on the owner, just to say that this last time I went, he wasn´t there and the pizza came down a nudge or two. The middle of the pizza was not crust and it was a bit watery too... it felt like it wasn´t cooked properly. Service is slow... More

This small pizzeria looks like a hole in the wall. It has a very small dining room and a very small patio - maybe a dozen tables in all. The menu consists mainly of pizza (although we had some tasty garlic bread as well). The varieties are many and significantly more interesting than those offered by many larger and higher... More

There are SO MANY different combination pizzas available at Rafaellos.Something for everyone. I recently had one of the pizzas that had anchovies. It was FANTASTIC. No need to travel beyone Merida to find a great anchovie pizza. I am amazaed that there isn't a line around the block. We love the pizza and the salads here and the wait staff... More

Absolutely the Best Authentic Italian Pizza One night in March 2015, I was lucky and stumbled across Pizzeria Raffaello in Merida. Before this evening, I had given up on finding a good pizza in the Yucatan. I had officially sworn off one my favorite foods. Raffaello's changed this. My first experience at Pizzeria Raffello's was outstanding. As I walked in... More

The pizza at Rafaello's is as authentic as it gets. I must admit, I am partial to thin crust pizza and Rafaello certainly knows how to make it thin without being dry, my favorite is the arugula pizza. That being said, the atmosphere is non existent and the owner/chef doesn't seem to understand he is in a customer service business.... More

Such a shame - this is, by all accounts, the best pizza in central Merida. And the pizza is good - I finally was able to get some my second time there! The first night, despite signs saying they open at 6, myself and two random backpackers were told to leave at 6:50 as they weren't open yet. We chose... More
